well i would just do that .u got bigger things to do making netcode, mini map, big ass maps ,compatable maps etc lololol.

this old ass version i have cant do like "multiplayer" but it can do messengers i was just gonna make it communicate to each other threw it using a invisogrid letter system even for mini map.

stay 2d hell of alot easier keep everything war2.

I messed with gml since around 6.0 before yoyo games took over from Mark... the multiplayer is the same client / server. This is gonna own. I wonder if we will get a threat from blizzard we might need to make our own private forum in time.

Anyways we need to get a formula for handling the graphics, AI will be a huge ball game. I'm going to need a hand with programming. Feel free to assist if you can or anyone. Still need a sound guy. GML is very newb friendly.

yeah it is but if your using the studio new one i think we got to buy it? the older one has serials that can be unlocked. and yeah its very noob freindly but theres different ways to complete the same thing.

what version are you using?

crap as long as not trying to monetize it i dont think blizzard would have a problem i mean war2dos is all over abandware sites.

the old verion 7 is all i could find had to get it off some russia ftp site.

im just going threw it reading crap god its been so long..
but gml basic stuff is still the same so this lighter 7 can go to other versions also.

what about graphics? getting them from a directory outside gm exe?

but im back at square one hell i made the basic movements while back follow mouse clicks but forgot and yoyo forums aint helping.

there is an rts tutorial you can use for unit selection. if not that hard drawrectangle(c_lime,x,y,x2,y2) Draws the selection box.
