I was just thinking about this yesterday.  obviously a great hall is a badass name for a town hall because orcs own, but what i was thinking about was... what if fortress cost 5000 gold/2500 wood or something.  eh?  ehh??

2,500 is the highest you can set the value. Try hex editor.....

i was thinking it would make the game much different in a lot of ways

right now the ogre stage is basically skipped (except for by messiah lawlz)

but also people love to do the super weakass make 6 grunts and then wall in a cat or w/e strat.  the safe power to lust bs

usually if the other player attempts to make a lot of grunts and rush hard or make two cats or something, by the time they attempt that, it's too late as the other player is lusting up.

with this change you would have a) better odds going heavy in on grunts/cats/towers at start, b) an actual ogre/sapper stage of the game, and c) a cost commensurate with the great advantages lust and dks bestow

most interesting with this change might not even be 1v1s but team games where one ally could cover for the other to get lust.  then tyhey could lust my knights and i could run behind with lvl 7 elven rangers or as i call them walking guard towers!!!
