Building a gaming website
« on: August 29, 2016, 03:52:38 PM »
Hey everybody.  I posted this over on Axo's forums also but I wasn't sure if anybody still frequents those..

Been a while since I posted anything at all...  buuuut, anyways.

Kind of looking for some help.  For any or all interested in helping with a project I am working on, please feel free to register or let me know over on my new site.

the URL is  http://ambitiousgamer.com -- (says I can't post links wtf)  I am looking for a couple more authors, ppl who may be interested in writing reviews or adding site content.

Still working with a couple of friends and developing a lot of new stuff.. but the forum there is active as well.

we're trying to resolve an issue with new email registration going to spam, so if you create an account, you'll need to reset your password for access.

Let me know..

Hope everybody is well.

mike

Hey Arch,

You can't post links because you're still a new member (under 10 posts or whatever)
I will review games I played 20+ years ago and write about communism if you're interested.

Hey Blid! Thanks man.

It should work.. or at least redirect and then load.

Best seen in Chrome / Firefox though.. I have to fix some issues in IE / Mobile.

old reviews and communism posts are always good.  ;)  the games library has to feature a portion for interaction once you find the game you're looking for.  the database portion and search functionality just got built this past weekend.  I added only 20-30 games or so, so far.  but each one once found, should have a section for people to do stuff on it once it loads up.  that portion is still under construction..

i was sure to add war2 though

Tupac, thank you man.  I could put some of those skills to use.

Let me know if you have any design ideas.  The concept is to appeal to new streamers primarily.  I was thinking of going the social media route, with profiles and such.  But it may be too much going on.  I have to find a *solid and fun* way to boost and showcase up-and-coming streamers though.   Sign up on there we can chat through the forums or whatnot as well.

For the SEO, the first thing to fix is the URL (permalinks) structure. Go to Settings -> permalink and select "Post name".

Hey ArchAngel i will propose you tk.

Tk is a good worker and passionnate by what he do, He will be a major plus for you.

From the other side, i hope you will not consider Blid as an option, he is liar, non neutral for peoples, manipulator, protect hackors, lazy, doing nothing for his own server.

Blid want to work with you for only one reason, shyne about his new job and talk about NBA and america gouvernement on your website.

Just forget this guy, hes the worst moderator admin of all time.

PS: Tupac will be a good option too.
