Hm, I can buy a Windows PC that can play games and do all kinds of other stuff, or I can pay twice as much for a box that only lets me play games and I can't upgrade. With a deal like the latter, how can I afford not to step into the future of gaming?

Well it's no secret that PCs have always been far superior to consoles because of their upgrade capabilities and better resource management. However, there are some people who prefer the console platform for the different gaming experience...

Right, so if you're one of those people why not buy a console instead of paying 2x-4x as much for a PC trying to be a console and failing.

Well I'll tell you that I work 40 hours a week on a computer, last thing I want to do is spend my free time gaming on it lol...why I prefer console. Am I getting ripped off? Sure. Do I care? Nah. [emoji14]

Also now that I think about it the controller thing is pretty retarded too. XBox controller has been the PC standard for years, since the X360 launch, and most games with good gamepad support nowadays even have the XBox button icons and everything in the game.

I'm not saying there's anything wrong with a console if that's what you prefer, I'm just saying if you want a console why would you pay $1000 for a "Steambox" that's just a shitty PC instead of $400 for a PS4 or $200 for a used PS3.

And I mean a regular PC can do all the exact same shit as this thing. For console type games on PC I just hook up the PC to the TV and play on the couch.

The Wii U is in a league of its own this console generation because of the multitude of amazing first-party Nintendo titles that will never appear on another platform.

Besides Mario and Zelda I don't see any reason to buy Wii ever lol...my N64 and SNES still work tho [emoji3], so I get my Mario and Zelda fill in.
