'My first serious video card (back when they were called "3D accelerators") was a Riva 128 with 4 MB of VRAM.'
made a 486-100mhz dx4 geforce 5500 pci 64 mb of ram with these slot adapters for more memory slots ...played halo 1 pc :O the small map actually played smooth so dam impressed with that computer.
the stuff they made back then was really cool.486 adapter for another cpu(which idk what perfomance would be gained).pentium 3 motherboard on a pci card for upgrades, powerleap* socket upgrades it was a very fun time.
