Especially when there's 8 players and you play like a whole stack of games in a row and colours keep changing? I'm usually just frantically trying to build and keep up wit the pros normally i take a quick look at my ally colours whilst my hall is building.

I know you can look at the map to see who's visible but sometimes when a few people start going in each other's bases you can see several enemies as well, and sometimes I have to go back to my ally list and see who's checked..

Makes me feel like an idiot.. someone please tell me i'm not the only one, cause it's really been bothering me.

As mouse said, highlight a unit or building.
    Green outline = your unit
    Yellow = allies unit
    Red = enemy unit.

Alternatively, if you're under pressure, just move/ attack/ patrol up to the target unit. The program will automatically attack the unit if it's the enemy.
