I actually wished Our war2 server would transform into wargus.  So much more possibilities with that engine

Same question, which version it based on? Version in .exe-description is empty.
Did you build something like here: https://github.com/Wargus or any old version?

Would be great to make working installer for last active wargus (i mean, to include all the resources, exe's, etc to just install it by 1 button and enjoy playing.)
When i tried to start wargus from github, that took several hours for me with lots not obvious actions.
Let's release Wagrus Combat Edition! Maybe i'll do that one day, i had such thoughts...

I support you, also i have some in mind MMO idea for wargus, if youre interested in can work in it, to allow us all play together using game, with simple installation

You cant compare wa2bne is the best for online matches. But i think wargus have other possibilities.

ok i played wargus "hell version" here what i find bugs
- no attack ground for cats/jugs
- ai is stupid more than here i was repair with peons  tower and he still hit tower while he could kill my peon
- impossible micro with ships, vs cannons, cats
- cats allways hit wtf?
- if 2 peons hit the same tree and first got 100 "wood" and second got 98 wood so he move to next tree and hit one time and he back to hall with 100 wood
- free repair while building something
- cannons got more range than cats wtf?
- i used stand ground, units still move alone

i played wargus campaign  by Erenussocrates "hell" version

here bugs what i found:
- AI is more stupid than here, i was reping my tower with peons while  pc could killed my peons but he focus tower
- AI is attacking me with every thing in first min with his defense
- no attack ground for jugs/cats
- impossible micro with ships, vs cannons and cats
- cats never miss
- cannons sometimes got the same  range than cats
- i couldnt go with tanker into platform oil
- i couldnt attack this oil platform with destroyer
- pc killed it and oil disapear
- if 2 peons cut the same tree and one got 100 wood will cut tree but second peon if got 98 he need only ONE CUT next tree and he will back to hall with 100 wood
- if i right click enemy with peons they will not hit i need press "A" +target then they start fight auto vs next unit
- i used many times stand ground... units still were moving
- if units are moving with move (not attack) they will still fight if they found enemy
Wargus suck, some1 who made it didnt know RULES about w2

Need to send your respond to wargus developers. I think important task for wargus is to make it look as similar to war2 as possible.

Which version did you play on? Easycompany's one? I still didn't understang which version easycompany's build based on...

I just tried 2.4.2 from here: https://github.com/Wargus/wargus released 6 days ago.
I downloaded original war2td and war2bdp (i hope there were original) and unpacked them via wargus. Then i unpacked them using wargus, installed stratagus, tried to start wargus and it crashed. It also have been crashed when i tried to use wargus to unpack some war2 original files. Looks like wargus/stratagus project is still far from stable.
But when i moved stratagus subdirs from appdata to wargus (overwriting aleonas tales), i got it work. Looked like working fine for me.
