White screen in chat

Sorry, i was not able to find previousely created topic about this problem.
One time chat just becomes white.
I got the image to see it just now:

Who else have such problem?
I'll try to fix that switching some banners off.

Let me know if problem is still active.

yeah happens to most of us after we alt+tab  and then come back to chat... once banner changes, the screen turns white.

If just having one banner will fix it for now , I think that forum banner should be the one up 24/7 or a updated forum banner

if you put only one banner it gonna create the color bug.

When this white screen happen you just have to w8 for the next alternate banner and it gonna fix it.

Nice thread but i already know this probleme since 2 month ago.

Well If you leave 1 banner you'll be dealing with one problem (whitechat) but bringing a worse problem, . Colorbug.

Whitechat is fixable by creating/cancelling game. it doesnt autofix with banner rotation as EQ said, for me at least it doesnt, but who cares as long it is FIXABLE.. by a simple click. no hassle.

but if one is to go fixing colorbug, we'd have to go kill all windows process including explorer.exe or some funny ridiculous method no one will even do. Banner rotation is the only fix vs colorbug we really know as of today. Dont change banners

hy do the banners cause the white screen?

I guess it could be caused by different palettes for different images (i mean banners). Maybe to make all the banners with the same palette to fix that? Not sure how to do that.
I removed 1 banner, is the problem still active now?

ddraw refactoring should be the next important thing for research anyways.

Still the same probleme, this is cause by the rotation, but it fix color bug, why everyone cry.

And since you delete my banner we got both probleme, color bug and white screen LOL

Anyway you dont have permission to use my banner anymore, so now you have two problemes.

I just wasn't sure if i converted your banner properly, i hoped it palette is broken and causes this bug.

Anyway you dont have permission anymore to use my banner, so now you have two probleme.

no banners - colors get screwed
banners - it gets fixed, but whitescreen gets screwed sometimes
