How about that bitcoin..

Last serious argument we had about it.. It was like 300 a coin. 11k now. Sure would have been nice to buy a coin or two back then huh

It would be interesting to know the true energy consumption of swiping your credit card.. All the electricity to run the machines, power the facilities, gasoline consumed by the banking employees etc..

i dont think it will.  at least with "mining" it's designed to become an increasingly difficult process to limit the bitcoin supply, meaning it will take more and more energy to incrementally add more bitcoin to the ecosystem
