Social vs Antisocial
« on: March 04, 2019, 01:19:15 AM »
I heard this term FOMO, and it means that you compulsively and constantly check what other people do in their life. If I have FOMO, and I try to beat it by ignore what other people do in their life, social media, etc., does it mean I am an antisocial person?

Social media is anti-social. People in your social life will punish you for not following their addiction and complain that you are hard to reach and making things unnecessarily difficult. social media is also used for spying your information (by other people such as your co-workers, friends, family, employees) as well as by social institutions such as US government who has set laws for a company like Facebook to sell information about their users to them. Facebook has automated their information gathering process and they automatically create packages out of your information which are ready to be sold. If i wanted to buy all your facebook information (all personal messages you have sent included) it would cost me about 5 dollars. Anyone can buy this information.

Social media is very unhealthy and addicting. posts in social media are narcissistic in nature.
