Claw, you are attempting to prove a point that, any degree of wrong is the same degree and deserves the same punishment but that just isn't the case. Unfortunately, it can be and is subjective.

If I steal a grape from a grocery store, either nobody cares, or maybe you'll get a talking to. Nobody is going to call the cops or put you in jail. But, yes, it is stealing.

If you rob a bank, there are much higher consequences. Both are stealing, one is an extreme example and the other is a much lessor extreme. You are trying to rob a bank and get away with it and your argument to the judge is that, this guy stole a grape, he should be in jail for just as long as me. Black and white. I understand the straight up logic but this is not how life works my friend.
