I don't know if we can use the one you linked. Afaik it can't just be any downloadable version, it has to be specifically compatible with forum arcades so the scores will get submitted. Any flash game (.swf) should work, but if it isn't modded for forum arcades then it won't send the score (e.g. nblox). On the plus side SMF arcade will support games that are designed for other forum software like phpbb and vbulletin. You may have better luck finding compatible games if you search specifically for forum/forum arcade games.

Any chance we can get classic snake??

If you can find a copy I'll install it. You can check the gamepacks on docskillz.com, and there's also a thread on there linking to other sites where games can be downloaded. (However, docskillz guy specifically said some of them can be installed & played but don't support score sending.)

mhm. If you can view the source of the page and isolate the .swf file then should be able to download it with FF or Chrome and use that.

~`~` GaMe ReVieWs `~`~

Five star games
tetris: solid tetris game
pacman: good pacman game

Four star games
None

Three star games
pingpong: the ball physics are bad sometimes but the game is ok.  i think curveball is superior but theres room for both games
donkey kong: same level over and over... a bit repetitive but it works
asteroids??   havent played it much, just enough to find ghost bullets appearing but otherwise seems ok

Two star games
avoider: simple concept but fun, except it's brkoen.  it bugs and pieces get stuck, which allows for scores that cant be beat otherwise.  if it werent for that it'd be cool
frogger2: not a great frogger game
breakout: pretty bare bones version, kind of crappy. had it as a three star game but realized it belongs with frogger2.

One star games
duckhunt... it's a great port of the game but it just goes on forever.  no point wasting your time trying to set a score if it's just a matter of wasting time the longest
frogger... a worse frogger game than frogger2
tetris2... okay, but an inferior version of tetris
nblox... basically same as tetris but doesnt submit scores

i hgavent played (not much interest):
billiards
simon
solitaire
target shoot
mumu
rsnake
are any of these any good?

rsnake is decent

why snake if we have a more challenging version of snake :P

though i might say if one of the dots appear in a corner (almost touching it) it becomes impossible to grab it.

that square should have round corners

Curveball

some toolbag like claw may end up being better than me at it but... that curveball game is fully sick

Okay, so if I install a game designed for another arcade software I have to manually select WHICH software it is in the settings for that game. Got Snake to work with the IPB Arcade setting, but no luck with the other two. It looks like the forum you snagged them from is vbulletin? Do they successfully submit the scores on there? Can you look and see if there's a version number for the arcade?
