yeah like serious

there should be an IQ exam prior to registering to this forum

and depending on the results is your amount of posts allowed per day ..

prolly ryu would be allowed to post once or twice a day that way

You can't set a free for all setting on single player mode against comps where as multiplayer comp settings you can set it to a free for all, other then that don't see much 'purpose' and I think it should be removed

Looks like some people are listening to what I have to say. ;)

I envisioned something a bit more formal though.  I think that if we are to run with this idea of community voting, we should consider guidelines and a set format for bringing forward a case like this.  For example, specifying who is being accused and the proposed punishment.  In this case, I think a warning would be suitable: If USA~Archer doesn't remove the link on his website by a certain deadline, the admins will remove all links to his website on the forum (including the one in his profile).  Advertising it on the the forum or server after the deadline while the hack link is still there should result in a ban of x amount of days and so on per repeated offense.  I think there should also be a set amount of days for a poll like this to avoid waiting a month for a resolution.  I think we can rework the system as we go along to ensure that fair judgments and punishments are made.

I'm still not sure how the admins feel about this or how the rest of the community feels about it, but I think it's a better way.  I trust the admins with their judgments, but I also consider that there's a multitude of wisdom among us and we're only using a small portion of it.  As the current ruling system has become widely recognized as Hitlerism 2.0, I think the ruling system I've proposed will be seen in a more positive light.

Let them host downloads for what they want soon it won't even matter. He put rules around the hack anyway. Having them hosted on your site is not a good idea or a way to gain trust in a war2 community.

PS I know there is alot of you hackers out there. You all have used and still use my old programs. I was getting 300+ download on my programs years ago. With an active community of 100. 300+ downloads is insane for the size of the community.

Soon enough we will be monitoring your warcraft 2 and programs running while playing. We will have a black list of all type of hacks, known memory values. Then after this goes into effect they should make account 1 per ip and email. Hopefully one account will be forums, game, website, etc... BAN That would take care of the little tech brains possibly bypassing the cheat system because non are 100%.

i'm sorry, but one account per ip sounds retarded. It's prone to the same things as ip ban - proxy, mcdonalds and stuff. One ip per email doesn't sound much better either with smurf emails, 10 minute emails etc.
