haha he started off with his own hedge fund where he was shorting pharma stocks and then telling the FDA to deny their applications, which he got investigated for, and then when his hedge fund went bankrupt he had another pharma company that he paid off the hedge fund people with, and then he got fired from that company and sued for doing that, so now this is his third company and he's buying old medicine and raising the price from $13.50 a pill to $750 a pill.  throughout this process he has made tens of millions of dollars for himself

I think he just bought a team, because he's a fucking loser, so he thought that would be a good way to spend some of his money.

because it's the reality of things. climbing corporate ladders, building companies from the ground up and so forth is a lot of work. i would know more about the latter, these types take their work home with them, and never clock off, they obsess over these projects, build upon countless skills so that they can understand a job enough in order to reasonably manage the person they outsource it to, go in and out of bankruptcy, manage countless personality types, and answer to stresses from shareholders, employees, families and so forth on a lot of different levels.

working for somebody else, working 40 hours a week, doing a job where the way has been paved for you, this stuff is pretty easy. and the people who are higher up the company ladder, working on more important projects, developing systems/ideas, etc get paid more as well than lower level workers, because they work more and do more.

um climbing the corporate ladder is easy as it gets if you're part of the privileged few. in fact, there is no climbing necessary.

also you never answered the question - which was about millionaire and billionaire CEOs. all you've described is what small business owners may have to deal with. why do i get the impression you think you're going to be a millionaire some day?

you think that's how it works? harder working, do more = more money? lol wtf. some of the richest people in the world are parasitic absentee landlords that do nothing that actual contributes to society, they simply own capital.

Yes, I think the same for CEO types who climb corporate ladders to already established companies.

I'm glad you at least separate your argument away from small business owner types.

I think that's how it works for the most part yes. smart work > hard work though, and privilege is always a serious advantage.

obviously i don't think the rich vs poor/middle class each have an income/net worth that is equal to their actual outputs. obviously the pay for the rich is grossly and insanely over inflated relative to their output.

i'm NOT saying that some people work 100x, or 10,000x than the average worker. But yes, most entry, middle level jobs in my opinion are very easy compared to upper level management jobs, or specialist jobs, or running start-ups (i am including CEO's of established companies in this as well)
