I used to do 7v1 gow/ef as a warmup sometimes back when bne came out and I have beaten it several times with and without gaying my neighbour and dualing.

You weren't good until like 10 years after the prime of war2 and most people had already left. Being #1 when there are tens of thousands of players vs 100 is a big difference. I had an 84% winrate in Kali Ladder games and had the 2nd most games played in the history of the ladder. I am clearly the best ever considering the competition was like 50x as much back then.

To bypass the antihack, all you have to do is use the bnet version.

Also, i think moving the server location could be a good idea, this Netherlands location is laggy for many people. Also need hosting with DDoS protection supported.
Any offers?

i spoke with blid not too long ago. He said he wouldnt mind paying up to 100$ USD a month for new hosting

we dont need $100 hosts, there is like 50 players max on. you could run it on a $5/month hosting and spend the rest on advertising.

The bare minimum to do before advertising would be to fix it color bug with windows 8/10. with windows 10 being free, I am sure the vast majority of people now use it or 8 and nobody is going to play a game with messed up colors = instant uninstall.

Well we had this discussion before...some "hardcore" gaming sites may not endorse or even allow advertising of a modified war2 client run on a private server since blizzard has not really endorsed it. [emoji54]

we already tried the facebook thing and it failed. the new players were all gone within a week, and most of the ones who downloaded the game probably only played single player. but if people like flushing money down the drain, by all means continue.

I need a reasonably decent gaming mouse. Even with real maps that actually take a fair amount of skill, like GOW, I haven't been able to play anywhere near like I used to for sometime because I have been using an old school office mouse. I really want a G5, but they aren't made anymore I don't think. SG uses/used a G9, maybe that ones good too
