a This entry has the basics mostly right, but 4 floating above 5 which is walled in by trees is an instant loss. No dirt circle around mid is slightly egregious. Doesn't look like this person put in that much time on it.

b One of the stronger entries in the field. Looks like they missed s5 and some of the detailing in s9, including at both entrances.

c The first thing you notice with this one is the mid isn't centered, but don't let that distract you from a pretty solid attention to detail, particularly above mid, and it may actually have all the rows of trees inside s9 correct, which is a rarity in this competition. This one is a real contender. Lack of detail under 3 and strangeness inside 5 subtract a few points.

d Bottom of 4 is open, a very strange mistake. Back of 6 wide open. s9 is off, 11 is unwallable, 2 is open in front of the choke at top. To be honest, this one isn't all that bad, but the functionality of many of the spots is seriously impeded. There's also no room to build in mid.

e This one is strong. The flaws I'm noticing are more minor: one row of trees missing in s9, top of 2 is entered from in front of the choke instead of behind, no dot of water at s12, entrance to 5 is a bit off and the inside of it is huge. But this is a contender.

f The worst of the bunch, I feel like this person probably only used 1/4 their allotted time. Took the thickest brush, did the broadest outlines, and called it a day

g Clearly this one has some disastrous elemeents. There are trees in mid? s9 is open into mid? 11 can chop into s12? That being said, if I was only judging the bottom 25% of the map, this one might be the winner. Nobody else had the dirt paths going down to 4/5 in the correct way, surprising as that is (even though this map has 5 being able to tower 6 from within 5...) Nobody else had that block of trees above and to the left of 6. But clearly this one can't be the winner

i don't know how to stream and didnt feel like figuring it out just for this but i might do one for fun. tomorrow.

okay i made this one in under 20 minutes without looking at gow or any of the fake gows here. it's good. i started by making the dirt circle in the middle and then tracing out all the paths to their ends. then filled in the spots

Like I said, I don't know how to stream! That's why I didn't bother to enter before the deadline, because my entry would never count no matter what, but then I saw the entries and got tempted to try it anyway

20 minutes is a solid amount of time for map drawing though, the key isnt doing it super fast, it's to remember all the details within the allotted time. for example, i had about 3-4 minutes left over but didnt realize then, and do realize now, that i missed some stuff that i know should be there, but it's too late to go back now! dirt path between 9/11, trees above the mine at s9, small patch of trees under/in front of 11..

lol nice try. my map was only added late to the poll and doesnt have a picture etc, but anyone can objectively determine mine was the best. that's not opinion-based it's fact-based and you cannot claim otherwise. what a brilliant map i made!

I could also claim, in the same vein, that I am *obviously* a "better" W2 player than swift, not based on W2 gaming skill and experience clearly, but on friendliness, community-mindedness, newb-welcomingness, creativity, variety in map pool, speech patterns, humor, intelligence, and pretty well every category in existence other than W2 skill and monetary wealth.
but here there is a clear metric, the purpose is to make a map that most closely resembles the actual gow. that's mine. game set match

In my opinion your map doesnt resemble gow . Blid your map is horrible please just be happy you didnt enter correctly because you woulda came last place.

This was definitely a best of the worst situation. Would have been more hilarious with a 10 min time limit..
