Lots of 4 player maps... someone will have to get a nice crew of 4 and marathon through them.

Manyway-Battle.pud, Allway-Battle.pud, Freaky-Winterwater.pud, Ultra-Wartime.pud, Sea-of-War.pud and Big-Battle-Island.pud are my favorites. I would like to see matches on them between some pro players here. Recorded for YouTube. I'm interested to see what strategy pro players are using on these maps.

Great maps!
On the last one, though, I think the bridge that connects the southeastern corner with the middle portion of the map is significantly thinner than the others. Symmetrically placed skulls are a nice touch. Keep it up!

It seems you started from GoW BNE version.
More people play old GoW version.
GoW is an asymmetric map and people like that! Not all spots should be equal.
The true challenge is to make an asymmetric map where each spot has a rather fair chance vs the other spots.
But each spot would require different play styles!
old GoW more or less has features like that (well some spots are just better than others) but there is not a 1 ultimate spot!
By the way, I visually like the small trees you add here and there :-P

I used the first GoW i've found in my folders for it. Thanks for the tipps!
I would like to create bigger maps. Not just 128x128. More like 256x256 or 512x512. Or stuff like 64x128. That would really cool. That could offer some interesting options.

I tried to make a fair 8 player water map. It's not easy. But here you have it.

I played the map! It seems a very interesting one actually!
I think it would be really interesting on low res. You can end up from neib war too really long game.
And that oil patch there on an low res game might be useful!

one question/request for future maps: will all future maps have max amounts in the goldmines? is it possible to have goldmines with smaller amounts in future Bjoern-created maps ? the max amount in the goldmine removes the aspect of having to secure expansion mines & take care to use gold efficiently, which is a pleasing aspect of gameplay that I unfortunately miss when I play your otherwise lovely & exciting maps. thank you for your consideration, I am looking forward to future maps! :>

About the smaller goldmines. Yeah of course. I'll create some low res maps for you guys. Besides i could save low res versions of the existing maps.

This is a rought hard map, and the 2 players in middle have big disadvantage, but map still seems cool.

Is a really good map, but unbalanced, 4 of the players does have advantage because the extra gold mines.

Hey everyone!
Just to mention it. I am still alive. I will make more maps for wc2 but i dont know when to be honest. Since last september i am mostly into MegaManMaker. Its like Super Mario Maker but free and of course for MegaMan fans. I am pretty successfull as maker there. Seems like i have a talent to design good looking maps, levels or whatever stuff for games. By the way. Do you guys play my maps tho? Did you record matches on them or stuff like that? I would like to see that :-)

hi Bjoern :D nice of you to check in & glad you're having success at megaman maps! i've started playing more recently and still have your maps saved, i may revisit them again soon. as i remember the gold amounts in the mines are all quite high so might try adjusting some of them down to make for more interesting/dynamic gameplay scenarios if you have no objections to that. if i do get a chance to play any will make sure to post the replays ^-^
