an option in the setup to toggle the ddraw version would be great, like install by default but have a fallback that can be selected if it causes a problem. i know there's some concern about compatibility but ive recommended the version at en.war2.ru/ddraw dozens of times and never heard anyone come back saying they had a problem with it, whereas we know for a fact those substantial display glitches happen 100% of the time without it.

also a lot of interest in having the music & campaign briefings available

& also adding in some new map packs like qanon said!

Didn't iL have a thing where you click your OS and it installs the right ddraw?  Am I remembering wrong?

it does, but that uses the previous version of ddraw before the new version released by aqrit which fixes the icons in windows 7 + various black boxes/overlapping window glitches in windows 8/10. there were several different tweaked versions of it released but no real fully-tested-on-all-windows "finalized" version (iL says here (http://forum.war2.ru/index.php/topic,4401.msg70519.html#msg70519) that he uses different versions in different situations). however, ive been distributing i think the 3rd or 4th version on the website for ages & it's never to my knowledge caused a problem or failed to work for anyone, so it seems like the benefits of going ahead & rolling it out could potentially outweigh the drawbacks at this point
