I'd be delighted. Whatever you wish. :P

I love the war2 music and can only listen to it on the BNE version (Which gives me the Beyond the Dark Portals music rather than the non-expansions when I host,  the non-expansions music is so much better, games rarely are long enough to the point where the non expansion tracks kick in haha), and sadly I can't warlat on that version. So having it as an install option along with the campaign would be nice. (I imagine the campaign doesn't take up alot of space other then the cutscenes and mission briefings which can be added in as an optional too if possible)

Hi Winchester. You don't need a full fledged war2 version to listen to the full war2 sound tracks. Just load those midi files in your player of choice and let it play in the background. Very little resources it takes and you get the whole music set

why do you want  ru to do all the job for you
you want music, download war2 bnet edition ISO off torrentz, mount it using whatever iso mounter u want.
run the game.
music will start playin. music will play with war2combat. no need to install anything else.

cept that the game changes music song if you are under attack or if you aren't... it also changes to a different song when you are about to go to war. dunno i guess it detects when your moving ur attack units around the map.

but MEH, ive always turned music off when playing RTS games online..... since forever

actually, if I remember correctly, its not just WAVS
the game actually reads old CD TRACKS off the game cd.

so you can't just add the wavs.
thats why you need to the whole ISO,
if ru were to host and distribute blizzard's whole ISO would be infringment of copyright.

download it off torrentz.

The music is available for download on server.war2.ru.  Can't you just download it and listen to it with the program of your preference and then load up the game?  Seems like an easy solution.

I think combat will include all the music and probably videos some day.
People like to download BIG archive and be happy they have full version, and connections are very fast now.

I'll probably make 2 different builds: big and small.

I don't plan to do it right now.

P.S:
* midi.zip (194.26 kB - downloaded 0 times.)
Same in WAV: 190Mb
That difference kills me...

I would probably be more likely to play the game if the music was included.  Why was it even removed in the first place?  Music is one of the most important elements of good game.  Playing War2 without the in-game music just makes it feel dull.  I've been upset about this for a long time.

It was removed because it was 190MB and the game itself was like a 10MB download.

include it, since it can be disabled in options.

Well that will still leave the problem of the big download. How does having the ability to disable it do anything? You still need to download the files. Problem is download size.
