This same bs will go on and on as long as xurnt doesn't get professional help. Trying to talk sense to him or arguing with him won't get us anywhere and is just a waste of time really. I guess we have to forget about the youtube channel and just make a new one.

One thing popped in my mind that maybe this xurnt is the REAL xurnt and years ago he was just acting to be nice and care about the server lol who knows.. Sad to see this happen to him but we can't help it anyway..

There is still one thing that should be addressed in my opinion; using empty farm space to go attack or rape other players gold. Imo it doesn't belong to chop and is just a dirty tactic for a losing player to exploit, but I'm not sure what others choppers think about it. Is it a problem?

This could be addressed by making the map bigger and just placing rock on the place of farms and place farms further away. next map size is so big tho it makes minimap harder to use. one way to address this could be custom map size like in some maps droid hosts like micro golf but I don't know how precise custom size it allows? This also has the problem that minimap doesn't scale properly but maybe it's better than 128x128?

I'd like to think chop players are more open to balance changes than gow players with their rigged ass map anyway

Much better turnout than I expected, usually it's hard to get choppers to play in tournaments but this was awesome surprise

Thanks for hosting the tournament Sczwagier. Thanks Tora for the payouts and figuring out how to make the tournament happen.

Maybe none of the other choppers feel the same, But i think playing normal 8 spot chop would be better than the 1v1 no hop chop map that was hosted today.

First time playing on it and i was super disappointed in the map. The skill set required is more memorization/pre-determined strategy, and less options for creativity imo.

was really looking forward to the dynamics of the only chop map anyone ever seems to play, and then we didnt play it.

I could tell the 3 people i played had spent quite a bit of time developing strategies for that map, so im probably one of the few who dont have an interest in playing it in the future unfortunately.

maybe ill just host a normal chop tournament later.

I do agree with you that this map simplifies the strategies possible and it tend to get more repetitive, but I had fun nonetheless and for this type of tournament I don't think we could play normal chop, because the games would take too long. This tournament already lasted 4,5 hours if you got to semis and that is too high already.

For the tournament type that is usually hosted the normal chop map would work fine.

On the other hand this 1v1 map is still a decent representation of neighbor war in a 4v4 or 3v3 match so it's not totally artificial situation. There was also an added bonus of watchers being possible.

There has been a lot of activity in modding war2 with Mistals triggers and everything so would it be possible to make a normal chop map with watchers?

Sounds good to me! It's nice that you get more games this way than just a few in normal tournament if you lose early. What kind of map is "1x1 farms"?

He often plays with name "24601" nowadays and he used to go by name 8)Morsmordre(8 a long long time ago. He was a very good chop, alleria, archers and some other customs player but nowadays he just trolls mostly. Sad to see such a good player go this way... On a second thought he has always been a bit of a troll I guess lol but not this low.

My crashing has only occurred when I join a game lobby, not in checking versions screen like with woofy.
