Correct me if I'm wrong, but deleting one's own account on a forum is not standard functionality. Even if you can technically delete the account, your posts would remain (otherwise you disrupt the logical flow of every thread you ever posted it), meaning your name & content is still going to be out there, so what's the point? Giving every user the right to turn the forum into swiss cheese every time they get huffy and want to make a dramatic exit is just bad policy.

From my experience using this exact some forum for another purpose, when you delete someone's account it keeps their postings. Just removes their personal profile.

But then what's the difference between deleting your own account and just... not using it anymore

yea no, this shouldn't be an option. having the ability to delete your own posts is sufficient. equinox is just looking for attention and has had a mental breakdown probably.

whats the big deal anyway?

it all depends on what "deleting ones account" means.

As for "what if somebody is ultra retarded and deletes his account n after a couple of days wants to come back" arguments - Volenti non fit iniuria.

Im fine with it being allowed, it's just not that important.  I would recommend the individual against deleting their own account because then someone will steal their name, and then they'll end up complaining.  But if they want to I dont have a problem with it.  If the forum doesn't have the capability to allow it, I dont think that's a problem.  If it does, then fine I guess, w/e.

Mouses have shown to repair their cells quite well from certain forms of cancer.

Mousey suck a cock? GL with that...she seems like the type that would make you her bitch. Don't get me wrong....i'd let her whip me around all day with tail of hers. [emoji14]

It's up to him.
He asked about to delete an account, i accepted as soon as ban time elapsed.

I agree that users should be able to delete their accounts if they want.

In reality Equinox can't live without his account, he needs it so people will pay attention to him.
