@woofy no I don't live in Miami anymore, but my family does. They're doing OK, just lost power and had a tree across the street come down onto the neighbor's house, but they seem fine just have a bit of roof damage. Thx for your concern buddy 8)

great point re cuba preparedness too! in USA the government says "okay yeah, you guys should probably evacuate" then sits back while people just scatter like cockroaches. no planning/infrastructure to evacuate or house evacuees, so people end up gridlocked & stranded out of gas on the interstates, or pay sky high airfare on limited flights then get stranded at airports anyway when flights end up grounded, and that's assuming they're not just stuck at home because they're physically or financially unable to travel.
