Just about any place is better than reddit. Heck, even the chans are superior to the mewling, pathetic masses that plague Reddit. Beta & nu-males thumbing up any and all posts that concur with the status-quo and thumbing down anything "offensive" or challenging politically or otherwise. Any and all amounts of "bubble-popping" is dealt with harshly, any amount of dissent amongst the basement dwelling fedora-tipping empiricists & progressives is banned.
TL;DR Reddit is a safe-space for degenerates & other cretins too afraid to come out and walk in the sunlight.
Also: Anarcho-communism. Hahahaha! Now, that's funny!

I'm glad you find that sort of stuff interesting then. AMA's can be cool. I'm not one for economics though. More of a theology & philosophy sort. It is true that there are many misconceptions about Marxism, especially in the West.

Misconceptions is an understatement. People generally have no fucking clue what Marxism is but feel the need to have strong opinions on this thing they're not educated in the slightest in.

I completely understand how you feel. People have misconceptions, or rather, absolutely no understanding of Eastern Orthodoxy in the West. However, it is more understandable as it has little footing in Western nations. Still, I've heard laughable statements such as, "It's Russian Catholicism," or my personal favorite, "It's Christian communism."
