I understand the negative side affects, but as a competitive player, I will likely quit for good if there is no stat component. I would lose motivation other than sporadically playing with random friends that are also rarely ever on. Some people play only for stats still, which is kind of funny this game being so old and stats meaning nothing, but I would like to see status quo maintained. Focus effort on server improvements like hosting issues/ping rather than something that holds little bearing to noobs getting in or out of games.

I agree. The consensus is that w2 probably has more weirdos on a percentage basis playing this game than just about any other game.

Moreover, there are definitely different tiers of hosts. Arguably it is justifiable. ex: tvb gow game that's 2v2 pros and a noob watcher joins who is probably retarded and cannot figure out how to ally and ruins the game by building. Or you want a competitive game in chop but 1 guy is bad out of the 8, he gets booted.

Unfortunately the player base is small and unlikely to get larger. Many regulars play on a cycle, so the game always manages to have 20-60 people on.  I don't know a good solution. You can attempt to teach the noobs, but in many cases they do not have the capacity to learn or the learning curve is just too long.

Abstract: Every Warcraft 2 player that logs in on April 1st, 2018 should make an '00' tag name, ex: 00Felicia and play on it for the duration of that day.

Purpose: To show solidarity in times of crisis throughout the world. But the real reason, to troll the 'prestigious' 00 clan. :)

How: Simply create a new account with the prefix '00'. We need something to spice up our lives. There have been times where a handful of us will make a Shark name like FatShark and SmallShark, but our joke will have more impact if we all do the same thing on April 1st. Feel free to discard the name after April 1st, 2018 and ask an admin to add the stats to your main account if it is important to you. How can the '00's ban you from their gow game if they don't know who you are, if you are OG, recently recruited or what your skill level is.

Update: There is no obituary for Brook in Aukland. He is alive [and well?].

I have 6 phone numbers for him or someone else with the same name. If someone would like to call them be my guest, but I've taken it as far as I can. I can send the phone numbers in a personal message if you'd like. If I knew more about him I could pin point exactly which number is correct.
