u can use il's exe sound program.....copyright is 20 years so bnet is almost safe??cause lets say nintendo cant shut down copying old school systems but can shut down youtube from thier music

intellectual rights idk lol but im gonna say the music is more a reason than the game..the midis are free use from the dude that created them.

i use winmpq ...i just remember not liking ladiks for some reason.
u got to close it before running war2?? i cant remember.
well your problem is a bad .pud file it seems or is missing.
also war2 first couple of missions has the farm rule and etc stuff maybe why its crashing.

just a project i was messing with last year...it actually runs good only one problem....trying to network with dosbox isnt easy if anyone wants to mess with it i can upload.
this version says it supports ne2000 but i never could get 98 to bridge and connect and get the ne2000 in the 98 hardware.

but yeah i see what your saying call it from somewhere else wouldnt even have to be a mpq.
its not easy yet like right now i have targeted gryphon avery and only 2 values in this one spot..makes a bird or no icon at all...no other values :/ so no foot etc everything else is a crash...
also the exe makes a new unit possible for war2!!! the war3 undead lumber/foot dude!!

mehh... controling the mpq with the exe with hopes of making more animated sprites.... still has something else somewhere.
if your tcing from mpq it will crash using a bigger grp this doesnt also 1 grp for multiple types of units...got some promise!
