Community edited and designed Pro version of gow which we all have input in it's strange with such a powerful map editor we never really got a pro mode gow map, were it is balanced better but actually new pro chops n hops etc, one weird change I never understood is y not change the mud at 6, we kept it shit even tho a small change fixes it and doesn't change any game play it seems dumb we didn't adapt.to the obvious changes for the better

Couldn't agree more. Don't go all out but a few very minor changes.
1) 6 has more grass to hall closer
2) 4 has 1 chop at mine already (1 less tree)
3) 8 has 1 chop at mine already (1 less tree)
That's it. You still keep the fun of the spots being different but the disadvantage isn't nearly as bad.

i honestly like the spots.
if i never got 4 i would never do a lvl 2 2 grunt rush, convert to lust/or convert to chop out 2 rax rush w/cat depending on what enemy is doing
if i never got 6 i would rarely go on towering rampages
if i never got s9 i would rarely dual.. or rarely 13 peon lust, or p stop rush
they mix it up and foce me to do strats that i wouldnt normally do. i like the challenges of the locations.. but i like challenging games.
and i can tell based on how many others respond to losses, they're in it to win.. challenge or no challenge. they want a win.
i can honestly say if im winning too much i lose interest.
-
i have a love/hate relationship with 9 o clock too. i hate the fact that i have to manage choppers so heavily, so i don't chop out.. but i like the fact that it's forcing me to do it.
-
triple post.. i think the challenges of the locations create better players.. even if you're at a disadvantage from those locations.

your post doesnt hold up to any scrutiny. you can still do all those strategies at fair/modified spots. you say you rarely would, but seems like the only reason you wouldnt elect to do so is to win, which is the opposite of what you claim your goals are.

can we remake gold mines before we remake gow....
