pro tip: When banning IP's try not to make the range too broad.
if someone's IP is 192.168.1.1 just ban 192.168.1.* instead of 192.168.*.*
LB liked making very broad ip range bans and it often affected other players. I sometimes wondered if dellam intentionally used proxies that were close in range to actual players... or maybe it was just a coincidence since he uses like 300 diff proxies.
-
Before banning ranges, I took care to verify databases whether there were any conflicts....

did anyone fix this yet? ill check it out
edit: just checked and you're definitely not ip banned, maybe someone already handled it

Hello Guys,
i just talked to Poi, what he meant is, that he cant play team games.
If more than him and another players trying to play, it lags.
He can handle 1v1 only.
He told me he opened his ports and cant even host.
Any idea how to fix?
-
pretty sure he has a dynamic IP, in which case port forwarding doesn't do anything... from what i understand it's possible to set up a static IP but i'm not entirely sure how.. that's the only thing that comes to my mind.
i know there's tutorials on it on google, don't think it's extremely difficult.. but before he does that maybe someone can verify what i said or has an easier solution.

No it sounds like he has a conflict issue. He needs a better ISP. I forgot exactly where I read I think it was something to do with cheap configuration or something like that. It's something the ISP has to change and nothing on his end.
Maybe he could try a vpn to escape his ISP settings but I would recommend a paid one with no nat for like 5 bucks a month or what ever. I think that would be his only without isp change.
Get a paid VPN so it's not laggy, and he is capable of hosting.

For anyone that knows me well, my last time back from a break was maybe 6 months ago. I also had this issue. I am in the Dominican Republic still, and the internet here is a collection of local servers that literally blow. My ISP conflicted with the server or whatever was happening, and I could only do 1v1s. If 3 or more people were in game, I dropped after 10 sec in game.
The way I finally fixed this was by tethering a hotspot off of my phone and using THAT internet (my phone data) as my internet source. I am relatively lag free and have gone down from conflicting with everyone to maybe a handful of people on the server. I can play 8 player games no problem with zero lag. Ask him to try this if he has the financial resources to have a smart phone and a good data plan!
