Title: What does it mean if /finger shows no data under version?
Post by: Certified MENSA Genius Brain (smart) on February 26, 2015, 01:09:58 PM
Is that what it shows for all users of Combat?  Or what does it mean?

That worked after i switched it on:
You can get other's client version. Use:
/finger username

You will see lots info including for example: "Client: Warcraft II    Ver: 2.0.2.0   Country: CAN"
And became broken when i removed it:
I removed versioncheck now.
I have no plans to enable it again, if you mean to prevent hacking, i have plans for releasing different software soon.

Oh, so this is disabled now.

Is it correct that for it to be enabled, everyone must have their version "checked" at log-in and that this creates a login problem for some people?  I guess I didn't understand that completely before.
