SoCxBennih is not a real soc and i want the name locked please. If he continues to pose as soc and harass everyone i think a ban is in order.

Its martin18, known hacker, permban & name lock on sight.
However, if it was a regular user, there would be no ban. According to server&forum rules poll:

I don't know what is with the people who responded to that poll but I think we probably should consider locking fake accounts if requested. We'll have to have a discussion about it first, about if we want to put that poll in the trash for the good of the community.

Little thing to help solve your problems:
Utilize the /clan function to keep track of your actual members. Also, clan icons...however this one might take a while, submitted mine a month ago and still yet to be uploaded. [emoji53]
Also official a clan page with clan roster on here might be another fun thing to do [emoji39].

thing is with the fake names, we already have been locking them all. I didn't even know about the poll result until now. The actual policy has been to lock them

But you assume we ignored the results when maybe we were following them all along and some troll or new voter changed the results a day ago. As you posted before, it's tied. A single person can change the results back and forth as they wish. It's not realistic to follow it... having to check it everyday, fake names being allowed one day and disallowed the next. The vote on slurs has also been changing constantly. I think we should look at how the results are now, take that as an advisory, and then make our own decisions that are static instead of constantly changing.

Why don't you just restart the poll, but allow only people with at least half a brain? There's been many troll votes i'm sure, many nobodies/retired people, and what are you going to do about "No moderation for both server & forum"? something tells me you're going to ignore those votes entirely. It's always about the people counting the votes...
Or have a little, cute discussion on your admin section about 'will of the people', confront it with your inner feelings and produce a coherent and static set of rulz?

Ye, I think I agree that the poll should go away. Too difficult to keep track of it in real time, ties our hands too much from making common sense decisions, all we really need is common sense stuff. No hacking, no spoofing, no racism, no spamming.

IDK. I've never actually read any other forums than this one, and the mods section a couple times. I stuck to the same policy on the old forums. You will likely never see me reply in any other section ;)

Seriously though. "Socxbennih" just told somebody he's the leader of the "clan" and had them boot me from the game as a poser. I thought it was kinda funny until that happened. Please disable that guy.

I really think you've won lances heart with the burnt not being admin anymore n shit. And lance had the hardware ban done. Maybe it is time for iL to ask lance politely about it? for some general hints at least... it will be a great addition to the anti-hack
