Interesting looking 1v1 map. Lots going on there :fro:
Wall hops - shipyard hops - chopouts - 6 expansions on a 1v1 map
You'd definately want to have a decent look at this map before playing it.

I played Lambchops on this map today.
It's pretty sweet.
I should have recorded it since it was an unusual game and quite fun.
In the beginning, I opted to chop the wood between our sections asap and sent my first grunt in to start whacking stuff.
This game was so good and interesting that reliving it as I type is almost as exciting as the real thing was.
He had a tower that I killed and we had a bit of grunt battling near the top left single-holed treeline. I managed to kill a bunch of his peons - not sure why so many peons were roaming that far from home, but it was ultimately their demise.
Eventually he sealed off top right and I sent many grunts to their deaths to keep him max-repping all his burning stuff, knowing I could afford to lose them. I got mocked for wasting money.
I sent 3 cats and eventually got through the first and second walls. Meanwhile he had hopped downwards into the midright gold.
I killed the walls with the cats and followed him and hopped with a peon and made a rax in his gold line, but my emergent ogre was forcefully aborted by a large number of peons smacking the rax with the help of a solitary but regrettably (for me) solid GT.
I was then out of gold. So I made saps and sapped to top middle gold, then to left rock walled gold.
He reached middle gold before I did, but I was about 1-2 chops behind.
I brought my 3 cats down to start killing his peons and rax and farms and smith from behind the gold and tree line.
We DND each other. I sapped through and sent lusties in.
This is the story of my second game on Honey Swamp. It was a delightfully unusual game with varied elements and a pleasurable suspense level, although since I was playing Lamby, I knew from the start I would win pretty easily.
The first game was as follows:
I didn't take a very long look at the map prior to launch. I ran my first pre-hall peon over to Lamb's base intending to hall-block him in his corner, but there was a layer of trees in the top left to chop through, which I did. I finished my first farm in the top right about the time he had his 6th tower on the map, the 2nd at my gold, erecting.
Then he rage quit.

nice story. curious how your match against derber goes.

Then he rage quit.
lol rage quit .... nice.
I gave you a sympathy win cos I'm a gentleman ;)
Definately fun games. 1-1 still waiting for the decider.
