how does it actually work? Does the bot try to join the game?
And if thats the case, what happens if the game is passworded, does it detect that its private or it will msg the host with same msg ?

You will receive this if your comptuter not answer the request that mean you are not able to get other players joined to your game.

i will receive the message even though any player in the whole server is able to join my game and play a lag free experience . yes.

yeah just for record's sake.
, I use DMZ feature (found in 99% of routers) set it to enable. And im able to host. It opens all ports. It's how I've opened ports for all apps and other games in the past and has worked and continues to work. Yet, not only your port tester, but other port testers I've come across like emule's also detect is as CLOSED but the port is indeed open and the emule client connects without further hassle.
I don't use portforwarding, never have.. in my opinion is too much hassle, some routers require to select either UDP, TCP, both, then select a range whereas DMZ is just enable/disable and pick your computer's name from a dropdownmenu list.
and even then, i've come with routers that even after portforwarding the port still is closed

Not exatly:
you will receive the message if the server can not join your game.
That means eighter you blocked the server ip using your personal firewall or w/e (and then others can join) or you just did something wrong with your ports configuration and then server (and all the other players) will not be able to join your game.

its cuz of that discussion we had before iL but you probably forgotten, its somewhere here... about the DMZ thing? ring any bells?
probably forgotten... The only thing required to let you join is port lookling into the world. It doesn't matter how you made it looking out: upnp, port forwarding, dmz or just direct connection.

No idea why that should be so. Try that, but i guess eighter my tester shows it open or nobody can join your game.

Hm, it shows your port is closed now.
But is have been marked as open while you tried...
That's interesting, i think some kind of false positive is possible, depend on your server interconnection, i just didn't test it...
Can you retry that again? Maybe it will show closed next time...

nope, remember I dont have password for my router and upnp doesnt work.
Just restore it to factory setting....will reset everything to default including access credentials.

Very nice to hear. I have seen a couple new players with 4.01 being able to host as well , on the other hand still some that can't but that was expected unfortunately. Let's see how things go this weekend because Burnts got the weekend off and is looking for some warcraft 2 fun!!!!!

nope, nothing changed. Maybe its the new version of the launcher? dunno

I changed nothing in UPNP engine.
The difference is you had 2 or 3 different upnp-compatible devices except router before.
Today you have only 1 (except router).
Maybe some kind of conflict between UPNP devices?
Did you switch off any of them now?

Do you mean user "note"?
It just logs on right after you create the closed game, whispers his message and logs off.
It doen't check anything, check uses different engines.

Yea, maybe there was a conflict that somehow resolved itself. I never disabled any devices tho.

Native spoken other languages people wanted. Write that message here on your native language and i'll add it to bot.

Not sure about other languages, but translation between english and russian is terrible.
I'd prefer to read english page than the same page google-translated to russian

Your port 6112(16112?) is closed. You cannot host games until you open this port. Please visit server.war2.ru/hosting to find a possible solution to your hosting problem.

Some russian newbies don't know english at all. I suppose there's some french, spanish, etc newbies who don't know english too.
And 6112 is just default port. There's about 5% of people with different default port now. Non-default port could be one of possible problems, but it should actually work with War2PLoader UPNP.
Combat 4.01 also allows to use non-default random port.

Yes, something like that. More precisely it uses this thing http://server.war2.ru/status/ (http://server.war2.ru/status/) to parse all such information about each user. It sends a notification for each user with gray game created.
