The writer of your article is afraid of "unnatural" processes. If it doesn't happen in nature "naturally" it's a scary thing. Well, ebola exists naturally in the jungles of Africa where its reservoir the bat (most likely) could shit the virus into a kids mouth and start an epidemic that can kill thousands. Anthrax is a bacterium that exists naturally in the wild that can spread from animals to people, it's incredibly lethal .The bacteria can live up to 70 years after an infected animal is long dead and buried.
It's only when actions that may be considered unnatural by some, likely the writer of your article, that a vaccine helped eliminate anthrax infection.
The highly toxic "Destroying Angel" mushroom grows naturally in the wild.

Using natural to mean good and unnatural to mean anything bad is just highly illogical and a plain wrong way to look at things.

GM crops are also not suppose to "withstand chemicals". They're made to be resistant to disease and pests so less chemicals are necessary.

yes
mixing bacteria dna to plants, or animal to plants and/or viceversa is not natural

just like the article said, it would never happen naturally.

anyway, thats not the only issue
the CONS list is huge, (goggle BEES and GMO)
but im not a greenpeace activist or anything, so not feel like debating this any further,
ill just state if thats not enough issue for you , well, theres no point in arguing any further, u want to believe, eat whatever the hell u want
ill just say, research further. the gmo is getting to ur brain already lol

p.s. ebola. lol. ebola doesn't exist. ebola is a scam.

Pesticides are killing the bees. GMO crops which  lead to less need for these toxic chemicals could help the bees.

If gameing is impacting your life in these ways, maybe you can increase your capacity to withstand your gameing habits with Game Fuel.  Let me know how it goes, and good luck.

Hell, I'd be lying if I said I'd have it any other way.

GMO crops are killing the bees, They have pesticides built into them, what do you think happens to the bees when they eat the pollen?

wrong again

http://www.forbes.com/sites/bethhoffman/2013/07/02/gmo-crops-mean-more-herbicide-not-less/

One of the main arguments behind creating these engineered crops is that farmers then need to use less herbicide and pesticide.  This makes farms more eco-friendly, say proponents of genetically modified (GM) crops, and GM seeds also allow farmers to spend less on “inputs” (chemicals), thereby making a greater profit.

But a new study released by Food & Water Watch yesterday finds the goal of reduced chemical use has not panned out as planned.  In fact, according to the USDA and EPA data used in the report, the quick adoption of genetically engineered crops by farmers has increased herbicide use over the past 9 years in the U.S.  The report follows on the heels of another such study  by Washington State University research professor Charles Benbrook just last year.

and who funded the study? oh of course monsanto, syngenta, or dupont. Follow the money. If its an independent study, it will get more credit but 99% of the studies are funded by the big agricultural companies. The vaccine companies had 2 studies a couple years ago that said mercury is actually good for children's brains. LOLOLOL the most neurotoxic substance on the planet..

Both authors are affiliated with the Department of Agricultural Economics and Rural Development at Georg-August-University of Goettingen (Goettingen, Germany). No competing interests were reported. Emidio Albertini was the editor of the publication and is affiliated with the University of Perugia (in Italy). Funding sources came from the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the European Union's Seventh Framework Progamme (part of FOODSECURE).
Neither authors appear to have received any funding by biotech companies in recent papers (same with their respective university).
Wilhelm Klumper worked for the German Farmers' Union for two months in 2008; worked for an agricultural development program for another two months in 2008; and worked in agricultural research for a few months in 2010. He previously worked at UC Davis for two semesters (Fall 2009, Spring 2010).
Matin Qaim is a member on the Editorial Board of the Journal "Food Policy" (since 2007); he is a member of the Golden Rice Humanitarian Board; he was the Chair of the External Advisory Board of the Africa Biofortified Sorghum (2006-2009) ; and is a Member of the Board of Directors of Africa Harvest Biotech International Foundation (since 2008).
Both of these individuals also hold other titles and are well qualified in their respective field (just take a glance at their CVs!). To be clear: neither individual has directly worked for a biotechnology company. Both have been involved in projects utilizing genetically modified organisms throughout their careers (largely a function of, and funding by, EU studies and humanitarian work abroad).
University profiles of both the researchers:
