The most common form of hacking is maphacking, which removes fog of war from online games. There are other hacks like build hack which are less common on server ru.
I am of the position map hacking isn't common on server ru. With the exception of dellam and martin18 I don't believe anyone hacks. But for various reasons many players actively support the idea that maphacking is still a regular occurrence on sever ru.

What can i say.. I remember claw vs me and he went to my base in few sec after farm, i think i was s9, he had voice hack, what i was doing.
If some1 know programing its easy to avoid status server, it could be problem when some1 need stream or warvid

If someone takes an SS while the game is paused and posts it timely wouldn't that prove they didnt hack in whatever game they are playing in.

These programs are external, if he didnt use "old hack" where u can see mines/buildings after turn off, i testes warcrap few years ago and i remember if u got turn on at start u can see all map without gold mines but if u got good eyesight u could see peon, if he move it peon dot disapear but u know where he started
Now im waiting for asking me ss, or calling hacker 8)

Dude map hack is dead lol people moved on..
1. Sound hack is just as good.
2. Programs can take a screenshot and remove Fog. Allowing you to see everything in a pic....
3. Plus the old school map hack you can toggle on or off paused or not lol.

Ofc u could toggle off but still mines and buildings are visible

So your saying there is a program which allows for you to see a peon on the mini map without removing the fog of war.
How exactly would someone get this map hack may I ask.

someone programs it.. then wants to show it off to a friend .. then friend asks for it.. then that guy shows it to a close friend .. before u know it a small handful of people have a hack

Yep and now iL has a antihack I don't give hacks to anyone.
See if anyone can get their hands on my unrurly hack. I sent iL a copy over a year ago. Its so deadly it would ruin war2 if it went public. I use it for modding and gave it 2 two people so far.

oh come.. i tested hack online with tora and i allready know how to hack and still got this stupid ah... but i think 99% players cant do the same
and i no need to hack to be top player

I can say if u will see some1 got status "UNKNOWN" probably its hacker so u can ask him for ss ofc u need still proof it
like error with swift
First time when i was using hack my status change from AH to UNKNOWN
Second time when reboot w2 i had AH with hack
Now i see 2 players with UNKNOWN status

hmm i don't have it running. is there somewhere i can turn it on? i downloaded the client from the website when i got back into war2 a few months ago, was running fine back then. reformatted last month and downloaded from same site - no AH. what am i missing?

I'm not hacking and would never ever do it (just to make that clear). But if I did, I would do have my hack on second monitor... SS is not a valid test of hacking or not...

I'm pretty sure I had a couple of games with players that used map hacking.
I even got one, as can be seen on another thread.
But I do believe that most people are not hacking.
I would say that a 1-2% to a maximum of 5% of active players hacks.

I'm almost certain there are no hackers/cheaters among top players right now.

I don't think there are many normal players hacking these days. I don't think hacking has been totally eliminated, there's probably someone or other doing it, but I don't think it's common and I assume most games I'm in are legit.

Lance made that hack years ago. Got caught using it against me in a teams game because he failed to edit out a watcher's unit hiding above 2. Minimap only hack shows you everything you need to see and is much easier to clean up when someone asks ss. But it would set off the AH without additional work arounds.

Yeah it doesn't necessarily have to be "voice" hack but starting spots are stored in game data as spots 1-8, so you can tell where people started by reading game data without map hacks being needed.

someone hacking as cherrrycoke (3 R's instead of the regular player with the 2 R's but spoofing with 2 R's once he joins a game), also from Australia and flagged as unknown, on at the same time while dellam is chatting in lobby.

Don't worry tk you know I represent the Americans! We got the best hacks ever, way better then the polacs can dream of 🤣 hell I even supplied the Russians! :)

On serious note I don't think hacking is common. . But I believe it still exists and will always exist... I'm sure some people only use them occasionally to reduce chances of getting caught

how could anyone ever lose a 1v1 while maphacking? i kinda wish i would have experimented with it so i would know, because to me, it seems like it would be so easy to win.
