Title: Chugginess During Offline Gameplay

Question: I'm a Mac OS X user who just wants to play single player campaign offline. I'm not even interested in playing online at this point, but did download the newest version of W2CE, and it installed and opened just fine utilizing Wine. The only problem is that I am experiencing a lot of "chug" during offline gameplay, and the game crawls to nearly un-playable levels when more than a few units appear on-screen. I'm wondering if anyone has managed to find a solution to this, or can recommend some alternative for a Mac user with hardly the funds to afford an internet connection. Thanks in advance.  :thumbsup:

dosbox and just use a dos war2?
