Asking Blizzard to release an HD version of Warcraft.

Someone tell me whats the format and resolution and size for making a banner ingame so I can ask iL to put it and asking players to sign the petition.

If you guys can sticky this here for awhile would be great.

Keep it simple.

Also ask admins to keep moderation, maybe 1post per user if possible. don't want to see flood with offtopicness
or maybe threadlock would be better?

I didn't put much information, was gonna say we have an active community and that many players have come and go and stuff but...

then thought it might backfire on us. so decided to just let the results show.

How would it show disrespect? We as a active community talk about their creation 24/7. Have the same principles of anti-hack on online game play. You just ain't got no nuts lol...showing blizzard that a community exists out there will only give them more reason to release a updated version. U think a few signatures on a online page is going to convince them to do all that work? You really are a idiot. And fyi bnet already knows about private pvpgn projects like war2.ru for years. Doubt they care, if they did iL would have probably recieved a lawsuit years ago. Would be more of an issue if iL recieved profit from this project.

Alright, I was wondering about Warcraft 2, and its current stages, if I could become a Blizzard Employee to
watch over the game. I have been on Warcraft II since 2001 , and played Thousands of games, and know
that you guys don't like to update and watch over the game.
So I am going to offer to do it for you. I will take care of the Ladder System, Take care of abused accounts,
and caught hackers (Yes I see people who hack regularly and can post SS's) etc. to help you guys represent
in a good way so that people who play War2 don't get turned off by the lack of support it has.
I'm well respected among the Community and I am a moderator at the official War2 Forums (The War2

You could probably purchase the rights to Warcraft 2 yourself anyway for less than 1 mill .
A lot easier to do that and make it yourself , or get an Indian to do it for $7 an hour

468x60 in .png format will do, iL can do the conversion. Text can be rather small since it's zoomed in a bit when viewed on the server, e.g. http://i.imgur.com/G5NES8i.png (http://i.imgur.com/G5NES8i.png)

There's no money to be made with Warcraft 2, if there was, iL would be rolling in it, and/or getting sued by Blizzard just like they sued the makers of BNETD, which was actually kind of bullshit because BNETD reverse engineered battle.net protocol (which is what PvPGN runs off / War2RU server), they didnt steal it. Combat Edition isnt reversed engineered, its just plain stolen and modified....

If Blizzard decided to remake Warcraft II HD, it would absolutely be the death of RU, why would you want that? Luckily, theres no way Blizzard would do that cuz theres no money to be made

What do you want in Warcraft II HD that you dont have? Lets make it here at RU ...

2 things would happen:
1) maybe it doesn't fill people expectations. so noone would buy it and stay in ru

2) or maybe it DOES fill everyone's expactations and much more.

what do I want in Ru?

game is outdated.

the area where the unit portrait and movement icons are , is pointless, needs removed.
want on-screen healthbars
on-screen manabars
want the option to cast vote kicks on players dropping rather than waiting 60seconds
want the option to have unlimited watchers and not fill one of the 8 players spots
healing spell re-evaluation
want an auto-match function.
map preview'ed display prior to gamelaunch.
the ability to being able to select your starting position on map. (being able to be toggled on/off by hoster)
map editing enhancement, at least upgrade to the kind of starcraft brood war
(the wide variety that exist in scbw of custom maps is great)
want to be able to send resources to allies (can be toggled on/off on map creation)
want a button saying "save replay" at the end of match screen.
800x600 possibly
12player or 16player games (possibly).

I like all those feature suggestions, i wouldnt like any new feature that changes the game play itself though like being able to select more than 9 units or stuff like that

By no money, i mean that i would buy it but i dont see millions of people buying it a 1995 game update. But maybe im wrong
