Seriously Equinox look at the growth we have had lately. You want us to be higher and right now we are reaching to be higher. What don't you understand about that. The users online now compared to before IS GOING UP. Do you want everyone to just quit or do you want to help the game grow and actually do something productive for it instead of always trying to tear it down.

Just need to add more admins is the solution like EQ said, and not people like foonat either who log on once a year, Someone who is active on game and community and is capable doing things that would benefit the game and not someone interested in getting a cool icon or red font.
That ad was done in January... you think the entire month of March's new users are coming from that. Wake up man. It takes more then one ad to assure growth to the server. It takes a continued effort.
The new users will keep staying the more we grow. The more people who come the more games that will be available and the more people who will stick around. You want to know what happens next? These players turn into better "pro" players.

You people gotta understand: some people act like they would be awesome admins, promises and stuff. "Make me admin and I will organize tournaments and help the newbies" they say. But the fact that they're not doing it already makes it just an act. An act to get the admin icon, and they will get bored of the useful-guy mask within a month.

Dude I'm sick of you guys comparing age of empires to wacraft2... this is why they have over 2500 players. HD version, antihack, fixes, etc..... this is the shit we need to do for war2 and watch it grow...

No the problem was with voobly. They are based on ipx... warcraft 2 does not need to take a step back in which it would have if we migrated. We would still need an antihack. Plus all the work it would of took to make decent game lobby. It actually would of made hacking and cheating easier and left us to count on voobly to ban hackers on their end. I don't really see the problem with admins not being active players. What benefit does that confer to the role? Would anyone rather that I had spent the x hours required to overhaul the website playing wc2? Because it's a tradeoff, one has to happen in place of the other. We all make the choice to give our time to improving the overall project which necessarily detracts from time spent on other things, and that includes playing.

6: Staff have to understand nominated people like riff is ridiculous, nobody dint even know this dude, he came from no where, he dint even play... I mean thats exactly one of the biggest probleme on this staff... You guys are selfish and try to make believe peoples this guy deserve to be an admin before alot of us??? Your staff is not neutral and do alot of stupid decision, i got nothing against riff.. but there alot of peoples who will deserve to be admin way before this guy. Abilitys of your actual staff to take decision is what killing this game, not your work.
burnt tries.. i tried.. the fact is it doesnt matter what the flow charts or graphs say. if people have less people to play and less games to play every month, those charts mean nothing... and posting them isn't going to confuse anyone who actually plays the game and sees who is online playing.
the game is in bad shape and until the people in control actually give a shit about playing the actual game and interacting with the actual players in a positive manner(some admins/previous admins are/were just as unpleasant to play with as koorb/allstar) its just going to go to shit even quicker.
what i dont understand is why anyone would want to have any opinion/control/say over what goes on with the gaming community if they're not even real a part of the gaming community?

3: Staff have to be involved in game, we dont need 1 or 2 admins, we need 4-5 admins in most of time, even when burnt is there, thats not enouph, when burnt is afk or already in game, there no more admins on channel to take cares of peoples. Burnt cant also be 24/24 so we need admins from different country from different hours. Why we need so much admins? First to put live on game, second to have hoster when people need, third to answer question and way much more.
The best solution imo is creating 2 differents servers for war2, one for pr0s (or known ppl) and another one for the newcomers, with 1 or 2 admins there , maybe 3 if we want to have a fulltime control on it. That's cause the first impact for the "newb" with our community usually is very brute, most of ppl is not sociable (me included). That way we could create a second community, and the players that have played for enough time , or have developed enough skills can join our server.
I'm pretty sure most of you will think thats a stupid idea, since it would "split" the community in two different parts, but everyone should recognize how sad the situation is , ive logged everyday this week and havent seen more than 20 players at a time, which is very bad.
We have nothing to lose, so think to it. We should try.
