Grand Master Tag Rules and challenges
War2ru is happy to announce the introduction of a Grand master tag challenge. The rules regarding a Grand Master tag challenge are as follows. All Grand Master challengers must be a master tag holders. All Grand Master tag challenges must be played bo7 and in KOTH format. All successful Grand Master challenges will be awarded a $25 prize with a limit of $50 per month. All challenges must be warvided or streamed.
(when I say a limit of $50 per month I mean once an individual Grand Master wins $50 they are capped off from winning anymore cash for 30 days. However they are more than welcome to accept more challenges.)
Master tag Rules Updated
We would also like to remind everyone at war2ru the current rules surrounding the master tag series and we would like to add a couple new ones as well.
All Master tag challenges are to be played bo7.
Master tag holders who accept the challenge will receive a cash prize for accepting and defeating their challenger.
Should a challenger defeat a master tag holder, the challenger will strip the master tag holder of their status.

New rules: Starting 3/06/2017 at 12:00am Eastern time War2ru will be reducing all master tag prize payouts from $25 to $10.
Master tag holders who fail to play a recorded ladder game at least once every 30 days will lose their master tag status.

if i will stop playing for 1 month i will lose my tag right(inactive, or i will play only 2x2 etc)? cause not sure what u mean
first map? gow? or maybe u will pick first map for one month? i mean march = gow april = pos etc

If you don't play a single recorded 1v1 game in 30 days you will lose your tag.

We have 10 current master tag holders which is greater than the number of challengers to date. Should the number of master tag holders go bellow 8 we will hold a mini tournament to crown a new master tag holder.

Since Swagier has the best record of all the master tag holders it has been decided that he will be the first Grand Master.
All challenges for Swagier and his grand master tag will be open on 03/06/2017 at 12am eastern.

how can that tournament award an icon, or a CHAMP icon in fact, when in the rules it said two good players cant even form a team? so by principle one of those 'champs' is not even a good player?
or maybe im thinking of a different tournament

That is a fair argument.
Thou I will say nobody claims that the winners of that tournament are the best choppers on the server.

Sure how about we rotate who picks the starter map for each period. We will have the following players pick the starter map for the Grand Master tag Series,
Myself,
Mouse,
Xurnt,
Blid,
Tupac,
Claw,
Ryzel, (was his idea)
Swagier,
Ripe,
Swift,
Nedro,
Yamon
At the end of 30 days the next person in line gets to pick the starter map for the Grand Master series of that 30 day period.
I gave myself 1st, I pick GOW ^-^

maybe lets make less time not 1 month but only 2 weeks? (14 days) since u made this list.. last person will wait 1 year

Some rules should be set about map pool for fairness and entertainment value
out of it random fuked up maps make for dull games
I suggest
for grandmaster
B05 on old ef
bo5 on other maps from selectable pool of maps/res settings
if its a draw 5 wins each, a final game is played on old gow
All games should be played on ef only, or 'faster' speed if both agree. no fastest imo
