Thank you for answering, fast and answered. Then for the update, how to update the War2Combat client? Do you have to uninstall it first and then install it again if there is a new client again?

You can uninstall war2combat and then reinstall it again to the same place, or you can reinstall it again over installed current or any previous version. Or you can install another version to the different directory.
All the options should work fine.

Then, for the tools and utilities used (http://en.war2.ru/downloads/), what are often used to support playing War2Combat? I'm confused about choosing it.

Glad to know you saw my war2.ru bot on gog server! That means i made it with use!

War2Combat has no any versions for linux as War2BNE is not designed for linux, but it should work perfectly under wine!

New Combat versions have some updates for wine, so no ddraw config settings in wine required anymore.

I can recommend Combat 4.5 (with default setup settings if you don't know which options to set). On any language you prefer (should work the same way) and full or standard version (the difference is size and presence of music/videos). Should work fine on linux for everybody.

Hello, introduce me, I am a lover of Warcraft III since 2009, currently I play DotA RGC and Hearthstone. I was surprised and delighted to read the news that Warcraft II Battle.net Edition was re-released by GOG. Then I downloaded and played again, a little sad through the GOG server turned out to be quiet player. Then I checked the Classic Games channel and found the War2.ru server and until now I have tried playing on the War2.ru server.

I want to try War2Combat on Linux on my other netbook. I think the update and development of War2Combat is better in terms of modification and updating of data and compatibility. I checked the "Utilities" and "Others" pages, I was confused about which download for War2Combat to be better played and used. Can an Admin or Moderator choose and explain which tools I can use? or recommendations to be chosen. The Linux OS that I use is TeaLinuxOS (Xubuntu based).
