tupac u have hack abilities but lack of vision
do something that may actually be of some use
like for example, being able to add units/spells to other units/buildings.
that would totally revolutionize war2 as we know it.
we could work in balance changes for once.
some subtle ones
like for example, the ability to upgrade knights to paladins from within the barracks, screw the church
or being able to build an eye of killrog from the fortress
or a mage summoning a critter

We can do some of that stuff. The problem is people would need same exe or out sync...

well yeah, if its doable...
then propose some balance changes
(like for instance, apply those i mentioned for 1 month and see what are ppl reactions..)
but, another thing comes to mind
i think we would need some new version of war2combat that runs an auto-update at start....:P
so we could apply balance changes at will and run the autoupdate on everyones mpq.
(and the server denying access to older versions of war2combat, or other versions of war2 :P)

If the server was in my control I could enable alot of cool shit and anti hack. But I'm pretty sure IL wants to do anti hack himself Or I could of added the database code and add more hacks to the list and it would of been deployed months ago.
It's to the point where I need certain access to finish development on alot of projects. I just let my vps go this month. And I don't want to invest a dime into my projects. I'm not making nothing so I don't spend. I do alot of project for free and fun/learn. I'm going to release a small toll today I plan to build on. But if stuff hasn't changed around here I might hit the road and move on who knows.

theres really not much to lose anymore, very little players online. Perhaps you should start your own (yet another!!!) server! at this point iL is more of an obstacle than help :P

Yes I agree I had to let my vps go. There is no reason why we don't have a known list of hacks detected... and that's the standard I want to implement. Once I can access a DB / pvpgn / I can emplemnt those to my anti hack. / then I have a guy that will encrypt my anti for better protection.

there is one reason :P so the hacker testers don't have an easy way of telling if certain hacks are being detected or not. They may get banned after a week and they will have no idea which hack triggered the anti-hack.

Are there anyone still actively making hacks for WC2? It would be a safe bet to make a public list of offsets to scan for.

Just use obs, takes ~~5 minutes to set it up, then you just click a button to stream, it automatically saves to Twitch, then you click another button to export to YouTube.
