Let me first say I will look into changing that behavior and how to make it nicer and thank you for the feedback
I can explain why it is logical basically when the number of players in the game changes the game becomes low, you cant have big teams pretty much it is checking that number of players and updating the possible size of teams accordingly though I could allow it to accept wrong max team sizes and change it as the suggestion program start running. As I said I will look into improving the page but this may be next iteration.
About the actual page:
What did you think about the sound? Do you think it is ok or should I make the page muted by default and you would have to click on the speaker to enable it? :-)
Also did you manage to add the browser source to your OBS and test it?
Well as I said just like you can install winrar to open a zip file you can install any mpq editor out there to open mpq files (which is just another type of compressed folder)
There is no "programming" involved at all you need as much programming knowledge to install and open a mpq editor as you need to install and use winrar.
That aside I understand the feeling about the rest and all but people are much better person than you would think they are.
Just because they have a different opinion does not mean the reasons they hold that opinion are the worst reasons you can think of ;-)
About the OBS well it is very very simple:
When you open obs what you see is a canvas where you can add a bunch of different things to be displayed on it, so just like you added your display or game capture, or even your camera, you can add images and... wait for it... web pages!
So to do that just like you would click on the big + to add a image source or a diplay capture you can add a "Browser source" and give it any web page address you want. it will then open that web page and display it to the dimention you give in its properties. Then just like you can drag around or resize images you can do the same with the browser source.
For this actual browser source I recommend these sizes:
500 pixels large for two columns ( the way I have it on my own stream)
250 pixels large for one columns (all vertical)
and as wide as you want depending on if you want them to be all in line horizontally.
Hopefully that helps!
also for your display you can change the scaling method and move in on the side to be able to have your camera in an area that is not the game.
same for the browser source :-)
If you want help setting that up and have some time to do it you can ask me in discord and ill try to guide you through it like I did for others :-)
Also for more awesome browser sources to make your stream look good you can have a look at streamlabs and other extensions like that :-)
I suppose it looks like this then:
1) you install an MPQ editor which ever.
2) Then you open the MPQ folder you want to open and it was mentioned before on the forum I am too lazy to dig that up.
3) Look for files in it that are not images and one would certainly contain buildings names and hotkeys change these and try it I suppose. :peon:
Yet again I would have to do it myself to see which one contains what but I mean I am pretty sure I am a programmer, but I am also pretty sure my knowledge of programming would not help in any way for that matter, this is just opening files reading and changing values. :P
Have you never opened a ZIP or a RAR file ever in your life? Have you never downloaded winrar? Or 7zip?
Does one need to be a genius to learn how to open browse and edit a ZIP folder?
There is nothing wrong in downloading winrar to open edit or compress a RAR file so why would it be a problem to download a MPQ editor to open mpq files?
How is that more complex?
Now as I told you I have never done it so no I cannot tell you the exact names of the files and lines you need to edit and I am not going to just do something I don't even want to do in the first place just so you have the number of a line in a file you could just as well read as me.
Or pay me to do it like 200$ and I maybe ill consider doing something that I don't want to do just to make you happy but then again I am no thief and I wont charge someone to do something that stupidly simple.
Also if you were nice to people that actually did it and asked them politely maybe they would just tell you what file they opened, there are plenty that know how to do it and what file to open ask @Warbux for example he knows and did it.
So no, I wont just download a mpq editor to do it and give you exactly the name of the files etc there is nothing complicated in browsing a folder and reading files it is not hard it is tedious and boring and long but not hard end of story.
So even as programmar you cant tell us wich files and line we have to edit,
QuoteSo even as programmar you cant tell us wich files and line we have to edit,
Nope just as I cant tell you the ending of a book I never opened that does not mean I don't know how to read nor does it mean it is impossible to do.
Because you know how to read, you are retarded because you do not know where in the bible is written "you shall not judge" if you have not read it? You man certainly are a genius :ok_hand:
Stop making a fool of yourself and realize you are just being a lazy ass kid that wants his parents to read him a story he could just as well read himself.
I am not your parent but if you expect others to read to you you can pay and subscribe to audiobook.com.
I do not want your money I am just making the point that I do not work for you... And even if I did, I would make sure you would pay an insane amount just to make me do something you clearly can waste your own time doing tyvm!
Especially since you clearly lack the basic amount of respect that would make me want to help.
I came to help you improve your stream and make it better but dude you clearly are way passed that offer learn it the hard way but I aint gonna waste more time. :P
Ragner literally uploaded a file that allows you to change hot keys for the game. It’s not like using an aftermarket keyboard or mouse where it changes when war2 isn’t running. Guessing it changes the mpq file or whatever all the craziness is about.
It’s on the forum somewhere. It’s real simple include that program with the game download. Then everyone can change key bindings.
To me that’s a great add on to include with the download because the in game hot keys are dated
You are clearly not alone up there dude. Get some help...
I gave you all the knowledge you need to have to do what you want to do for free.
Now if you are too lazy to try that for yourself then shut your mouth and stop bothering people about your problems.
Call me all the names you want I am just another user just like you except slightly less paranoid, less pessimistic about other people and less narrow minded than you...
Maybe your should learn programming to calm that paranoia problem and most importantly human relation skills...
Insulting people and being an ass will only get you so far in life...
No it isnt. I just changed the hotkey to make a peon from "p" to "e". I am pressing the P key and it types P... Same for E..press E and it types E. I wouldnt mess with it if it changed my windows key settings considering I play 20 games a year.
Its only changing in game hotkeys
Did you try it? It worked for me
