so lets say you want to make a scouttower townhall
it would be whatver its main building is 20 or a0 etc keep it standard as i was running wild hexes.
a0 10 00* 00* *still researching here.
that would be a scout tower that accepts gold and lumber.

01 14 08 08 would be a townhall foot that is also a transport*bugged
ill add to this list when i get to it or whoever is messing with it.

if your tcing from mpq it will crash using a bigger grp :( this doesnt also 1 grp for multiple types of units...got some promise!

Yes I was wondering if we could just change the path of the files in the exe maybe we can run war2 without the mpq. Would be super fast for us modders.

idk,i still have to use there names or the exe wont even load.
but yeah i see what your saying call it from somewhere else wouldnt even have to be a mpq.
its not easy yet like right now i have targeted gryphon avery and only 2 values in this one spot..makes a bird or no icon at all...no other values :/ so no foot etc everything else is a crash...
also the exe makes a new unit possible for war2!!! the war3 undead lumber/foot dude!! :o ??? yeah i know :(

i was, scorpion got it covered pretty good,tc's can use puds also unitdat is just to block say a war2 user from playing your tc.
get that editor its better than udated

No more hex editing?? Do you think is possible to make globin machine units to attack or really impossible?

i dont think its possible with a pud :( i just dont think they have a attack rate signed to them in the exe...so if they did have a sword it wouldnt fire.

only way i know of is to duplicate the bird and mpq replace or find the rate of fire switch in the exe.
exe modding is almost out of my level.

This editor is for the old warcraft 2 version, how im supposed to use default.unt in mpq, should be unitdata.dat editor.

for .puds :P you always want to stay in the pud first..just use unitdat to lock your tc...so it can play only with idenitical tc's :) and i mean tc's as total conversion grps, dif units something major!theres still alot of puds to design that can just be a war2 custom map.
idk if you played my plethora map but that was a pud heavily influenced by sc1 and it works great as a pud! still needs some more work done to it but a pud is powerful.
for me to make it as a tc! i would put sc1 units in it give marines gun fire etc and effects it would look excellent but till the exe is used it will be 100% these editors giving you the ability.
yeah you played it :) its in MAPS section. that was fun making...
the birds need the copter in front of them,so they can stay back and use range. cant just have something overly op.

Did you try the map editor I released ??? In easycompany and my map editor on page 3 or so.

yeah def want that, taking a break bne modding...gonna mess with dos just a little :P was playing the campaign and noticed 2 sheeps walk right threw each other!!!!
mini war2 would be great on bnet but i can make it for dos if its better for it!
it may just be the tc engine ! all that it losses is the ally vision sheet people make copters >.>

i know why most of them people didnt find our stuff man...looks like 99% of them was done before bnet came out.
dos is dif values than bnet on the units stuff we was finding but everything else is similar...that ole 278 stuff may just be the key to understanding the exe man! wish i didnt burn out my drinking muscle half assing today! ;D ;D ;D ;D yup def good news!! got to excited :-X

it should do multiplayer coop maps!bnet may.. not sure.
im just seeing if i can make units pop out of farms etc.dos is more acceptable to not crash lol
