Tonight at 5:00 AM eastern of the morning a smurf appear in our game and show us how powerful they can hacks us.
-He literally give map hack to every players in the game,
-he change the resistance of building or the attack of the units, not sure wich one it is.
-He change the time construction of any building.
Those kind of hacks just proof us once for all, that they are able to hacks everything they want, not only they can hack the game from there own side, but they also can hack our OWN Game!
If that guy have been able to give me a map hack, just believe what else he can do...
The fact that he can change my personal code source of the game, just proof you they can take advantage on spots.
Like he will start 12, 2 11, 9, 5 and he will hacks your code source to make you start all shitty spot like 6, 8 4 over and over.

For years and years i have warned all of you, told you they can hacks everything they want with the mpq, telling you they are cowards cheaters liars manipulators and admins are just protecting them.
And you have telling me i was crazy and deserve to go hospital over and over, But finally someone show us the truth, someone show us everything i was saying was true.
I love this game guys, i love the communauty, but im gonna be honnest, i think it's time for me to do something else of my life, wasting my life here is not anymore valuable.

Can't find the thread but I remember tupac did come up with hacks like this a couple years back. Basically allowed for cheats to be enabled in game for everyone.
He used to play with his friends on the server and they would sometimes use "on screen," or others. I do think players have the option to turn them off to since they are enabled for everyone.
For this game you were in they enabled onscreen, make it so, it is a good day to die, etc.

Yeah I just used the smurf detector from admin.war2.ru and I can confirm that "Hateisreal," is Tupac.
Can't lie though that was pretty funny watching the players reaction on the stream.

AH should have already been mandatory. I really dont see why it isn't, if there is something implemented in the game already use it. I cant imagine its that difficult to make you use a certain version of war2. If you have a version before AH was created there should be a message before you can log in to update to a newer version.

We all know how full of holes such an old game is, hell there are hacks for starcraft 2 and pretty much all modern games out there.
Of course a game like war2 is not safe from hacks and wont ever be. Especially since so much of the game happens on the client side...
Think about it for a second even games like League of legends that are almost entirely server side have been hacked and still require a reporting system for dealing with cheating...
One just have to be very very stupid to waste time making/using them on an old game like war2, or even use them to play mind games with other players...
How mentally ill would you have to be to do something like that, what do you think hmm? ::)
We can always try to minimize or make it harder but lets be real here, there will always be a way and it will always be easier to find than to stop...
Let's put it that way: it would be more reasonable to sell you the moon than telling you we have a perfect solution to stop hacking in war2.

On the other hand here is how to deal with hacking in general on war2:
We know most if not all of the players that play on the server at a decent level we are a pretty small community after all. During one night of gaming you will run into probably a hand full of that playerbase at most.
In short: Play with the guys you like and trust avoid the people you do not like and do not trust. :thumbsup:
When you play a game with someone you can record the match and have a look for yourself afterward.
Now rest assured, there are not that many mentally ill dumb asses in our community and the stakes are not that high in normal games that players would want to cheat.
So try and not be too paranoid, not everyone is a hacker most of the times people either get lucky or just have better map awareness and instincts than you, at least that is what I am telling myself most of the time. Though of course it never hurts to have a look at the replay from your opponent perspective after the game in some edgy cases right ;D
Anyways long story short don't let it get to you, its not really going away so lets try a learn how to cope with it :thumbsup: :wc2:
As for smurfing I know a way I could reveal the main aka of players in your lobby and show if players are using vpns/proxies through the lobby manager app. But I did not do it because it kinda removes anonyma to some extent and smurfing is a part of war2 folklore...
Though honestly I myself would not be too sad to see it go to some extent, It just is not my decision to make unless it is a clear unanimous consent. This is a difficult edgy topic :sweat:

Really you all love me that much. How many times must you call my name? So what I discovered a few bugs. I wanted to use that as like a trigger system similar to starcraft. People loved it in my host bot and I was glad to get reactions like eq but they were more pleasant and amazed to see something unseen in a game they play most of their life.
I told iL 5 years ago "can prove everything". I planned to release a big modding tool. Which would allow cheats codes online. I even spoonfed him how to replicate the mod, gave him a copy of the program. 3 months ago I decided to release that tool on many forums in many modding communites. 5 years? come on let's be real here. You all want a grandpa for an admin enjoy lol.
Sure blame me. We see it all the time. But it's funny because most situations, iL post threads sorry this happend or that. Then we only see a bunch of demented adult men blaming someone who doesn't even play at all.

What's funny is I have to login your server to produce logs. Let's get that clear right away. The second funny part is you say IP. Sorry to be the one to tell you this. Unless you use other means then IP you're data produces too many false positives. I hate for you to be a judge honestly lol. I could easily frame anyone I wanted. You would gladly believe some crap you read and slam the hammer. Now I wonder if you accidentally banned someone because the data you read isnt fool proof..

What if someone got their PC backdoored?
What if your whole server Infrustructure failed to detect a spoofed packet?

Explains why I taught mousey to do icons. iL newbly just replaced star icon in war2 mpq and gave you all starcraft tag before I taught her. But think about it if you are truly an honest person. They would want you to shine but not brighter then them as your honesty will reveal them.

Actually i know why iL dont wanna close those rigged clients, because since 2006 lots of peoples have use those clients to log on the server, i dont know how but he probably backdoor there PC, and that peoples who dosent play anymore are still backdoor and dont even know about it 10 years laters.
If he close those clients he will lose alot of backdoor computers on his zombie network.

EQ there is some stuff you got backwards but you are correct. This may help your mind. Ru is truly the outdated version of war2.
They claim to not use the true updated warcraft 2.
1. Because warcrap works when you pause because it's the version on the game the hacks coded for.
I. This becomes invalid quick because anticheat exists now for ru.
II. iL can't do it or may never have to time to recode everything needed.
III. Now think vice versa even with his antihack should be safe to fully update warcraft 2 as you detect those hacks now. Now the outdated client is only causing you issues like lag, games not show up for playing. Why leave all of this to happend? Maybe because the hacks they got are patched because of the real war2 update from blizzard. See if they make you think updating allows hacks. You forgot about hacks possible patched they dont want to loose by updating.
2. You are all hackers in my eyes. You use warlat, mixed with double click or macro, have another advantage by knowing the unit control changed vs people who don't, another advantage of being use to playing like this and another because the user who dosent know warlat, cant tell the handle of units is different so his gameplay is off and he don't know why. You control the flow of all of this so most looks legit in replays and streams.

Close the rigged client, everyone must play with the original war2ru version 4.6 or any new version for the future.
Close mpq editation acces to the public.
It will not probably solve all the hacking issue, but it will help alot.
All those hacking software they made over the last 15 years will be now useless, they will have to remake all there hacks on the new 4.6 version, and everytime we gonna do updates for the 4.7, 4.8 etc etc, it will need new hacks everytime.
Everytime we got a new update, they most re-created there hacks because the old one is not working anymore with the new war2ru version.
So at least, we dont get rid of every hacker, but we discourage them to re-create new hacks every time we did an updates.

And we dont want iL to make AH mendatory, because those hackers know how to appear AH mendatory on war2ru status, it's just a mirror, an illusion, they still use rigged version and just hack the war2ru status so they still appear to be AH when it's not true at all.
WE must close, those rigged client, no more acces on war2ru server from those clients, and we also close acces to mpq, period.
I told you now, if we do that, we get rid of 90% of the hacking right here, right now, we also get rid of lag, conflict, and latency corruption!

It's easy, i repeat the same damn things for 5 years now.
Close the rigged client, everyone must play with the original war2ru version 4.6 or any new version for the future.
Close mpq editation acces to the public.
It will not probably solve all the hacking issue, but it will help alot.
All those hacking software they made over the last 15 years will be now useless, they will have to remake all there hacks on the new 4.6 version, and everytime we gonna do updates for the 4.7, 4.8 etc etc, it will need new hacks everytime.
Everytime we got a new update, they most re-created there hacks because the old one is not working anymore with the new war2ru version.
So at least, we dont get rid of every hacker, but we discourage them to re-create new hacks every time we did an updates.

They also change the starting location bro, it's something easy to do, you know it when you are map creator, i create tons of map, when you create them you are able to choose location of every peoples, i just cant imagine what you can do in the game himself, you probably just can change the ratio of every position for yourself...
Exemple: 12= 95%, 2= 95%, 4=10%, 5=90%, 6=5%, 8=5%, 9=95%, 11=50%
But not only that, if you nouph crazy you can probably also change starting location of your opponnent!!!
