This is cool, FBA definitely have a lot of potential for their affordability and reach. It's nice to see someone taking some strong initiative to advertise & spread awareness, kudos tk!
We should definitely collect as much data as possible while the ads are running to get a more accurate picture of ROI; the numbers can look pretty good (x impressions, y clicks) but we need to figure out how many war2combat downloads that actually translates into -- I'll see if I can set up analytics to track the behavior of traffic referred from FB. Likewise, even if someone does download it doesn't necessarily make them a new long term player, but it's a starting point. Have you done any split testing of multiple ad layouts to see what gets better results?

I don't dislike gow or chop, but I have little experience with them so 99% of active players (who play those two maps exclusively) far outclass me. Both maps are fun once in a while if I can find another newb to play with but I have little interest in playing them exclusively, or in devoting the number of hours necessary to becoming competitive at them.

Networking in wc3 communities actually makes great sense -- wc3 players in general are probably far more likely to try (or even return to) wc2 than the average Internet schmuck, and won't be totally helpless in-game.
