yes, looks like skrill.com is better.
Paypal is not good, it's a very big problem to get money from it in Russia. Maybe even not possible for non-business account...

So, attacthed war2payment@gmail.com to skrill, that looks like the easiest way to international money transfer with smallest comission...
Let's try skrill then.
Just don't send much money for the first time, let me check i will be able to get it.

There are different ways to fix colors, no one works perfectly. This DirectDraw registry fix is one of them. The main problem is war2 is not only DirectDraw game, but also uses some more technologies, especially for chat with it's icons.
I think should do something like to write custom directdraw wrapper for war2 especially.

I have good news about uPNP, looks like that source code has just been built by me. I hope to release something working for uPNP in several days...

did anyone send cash via paypal yet? when i go for "send cash to a friend" it says it's not possible, try it later but it never works.

maybe cash from europe to russia is blocked?!

I absolutely have no idea how this paypal works.
I just attached my bank card to paypal and hope it will work to receive payments...
Not sure it will work. The only thing I used paypal was to buy some thing via internet-shop half a year ago...

You can try webmoney as the easiest way.
I'll try to look into paypal in russian tomorrow...

Anyway, let me know (including screenshots) antivirus warnings for any parts of combat or any other war2 software.

What i know is norton avtivirus warning against WPpatch.exe.
I'll think about to remove WPpatch.exe from next combat version or to change it to anything else.

Well, i actually have a plan to make common auth for server.war2.ru, forum, ss and maybe ladder, to integrate it at all, attach the main bnet profile and let them leave comments, vote for each other, or w/e...
This idea is very far from finish, but i keep it in mind...

Sure, it kept crashing the server, but that doesn't mean it's absolutely bad.
We can debug it and fix all the crashing points, it's what i plan to do and doing when i have time.

I emailed the creator of mca64Launcher, lets see if he will help us.

Let's see, anyway, upnp thing is definitely the same, but i think i can get it myself: they use upnpc-static.exe it looks like working console application and it's opensource also.
Color fix could be similar that we need, not sure, but color fix should be the same or a little different.

Hey IL, you're right. When i play with war2 Combat games show up  . When i play with my regular war2bne they dont show up.
Shoundt be like that but ok!

Is german version working for you now? There were problems with german version since i switched versioncheck on. Would appreciate if anybody help me to fix that problem. Nobody wants to send me his war2 files, i don't know, why. These files doesn't contain any private data and requires about 1 min to upload....

I also wander such situation: games show up in combat and don't in german (2.0.2.1 as i see). They should work the same. And also, i saw the problem with combat also... I'd say that looks like bnet server bug, not war2...

dunno bout firefox but in chrome it is more discouraging the way it says it. here i found a pic on the net



it doesnt have a multiple choice to choose from ( at first sight anyways)
just says is malicius and click dismiss.
you click the dropdownmenu then select, save to computer anyway or something like that.

Where do you download combat from? Server main page? ftp.war2.ru? Or anywhere else?

p.s, Even google chrome detects 3.15 as harmful and requires users override to download it

If im not mistaken and if I recall correctly the 3.10 version downloads just fine.

I'd say - some network routing troubles between client computers.
Not sure, but possibly some bug in bnet server also. I'll try to update bnet server to lastest version...
