Blid is an old admin from around 2006, he played couple years on the server and since 10 years he have never played anymore, the fact that he just hang here like that to watch the forum and take decision like if it matters make me believe he is just a smurf and troll.. iL is the head admin of the server, he dont play the game anymore, but he is really good to take this game into dictature. Everytime we want to improve this game and it concern CLIENT, SERVER, OR HEAD ADMINISTRATION... He act like it's never possible. I think he only use us as what we call Zombies Network! Something that alot of Russians love to do. At the moment he telling us that we cant have new HEAD ADMINISTRATION because he miraculously made the server on LINUX platform, but whats the point with his personal LINUX computer and a pvpg server that came back from 1995 when linux was not even existing... It make no sens at all, he just dont want nobody to see what is happening in this server, thats what i think. By the way, he will also say all those shutdown are due to dos attack, but it's false again, iL transfert the game to another server six month ago, he probably find a better deal where he pay less, and that server is total trash! Six month ago before he transfert to that server, war2 was not that bad.

And please, dont say ping is not bad, ping is total trash and there 2 reason for it... The server that he just transfert is trash, and he still allow mutiples different clients to connect on the server, wich bring a corruption on the latency. Go try war2usa and you will see what a good ping is!

HAHAHAHA. Someone please let this guy setup and run his war2 server )))))))))))) That would be comedy gold.

So i learned here that linux was not made in 1995 so server doesn't run on linux! It's all a conspiracy. These are some tupac/xurnt levels of stupid.

How is that hard? Get more admins, more moderators, how the fuck we got one HEAD admin and hes never here to take cares of the server.

You act like it's a big deal, it's not a fucking big deal, it's actually pretty easy, get more Admin with full acces on the server, so there always someone to take cares of it.

Stop keeping that server on iL dictature, when you gonna understand, that server deserve a real staff, period.

This guy's server will outlast dinosaurs. I already see it.

None of you can host it as ssh is probably a sexy sound from porn to all of you. IL is knowledgeable enough and normal enough to be the only person hosting it. In small communities like these, if you have a missfit abandoned child (tupac) you will always have issues as most normal people don't have enough time to deal with child like personal issues someone might have. The same reason you don't mess with a local loony in your neighborhood. Could you fuck him up? Yea. But his whole life is in shambles that you might become his obsession and no one normal is willing to waste life on some loony goon. Something like that is with tupac. His basement is very big, and very dark. So dark you probably never seen so much darkness, and that's all he has. Everyone else has at least something else to cling on to.

So yea, so long as ssh is a sexy sound to you, don't host shit.
Or well, cash in for a dedicated managed server. You don't have to know shit and it will always be up. The lone child's basement googling won't be enough to harm such a server and hosting will always keep you up. But once you see prices on that your enthusiasm for "hosting" anything will splash rather quickly (and obviously, such a server is a huge overkill).
You could shop around for managed vps. That's more doable pricewise, but again, once people's enthusiasm goes away (which is usually 2-3 months bills) bickering about who will pay will start, who's contributing more, who doesn't have enough money because, insert random fake rason, mom got in carcrash, granma has funeral, corona kiled his boss...  and you'll have the same discussion as you are having now. And yea, managed vps will have issues or won't depending on the hosting you pick. Good host will be pricier but will keep you up, bad one will keep upselling you to pricier vps's.

So that is why in small communities like these you have the setup you have now. A normal person hosting it, and normal person paying for it, however, attention span of both is lacking the needs of the small community.

It's not time for the servers. Once you manage to bypass the basic free DDOS protection and actually impact the server. You just shutdown your only point rofl! and now we on a server where all current players / allowed player are whitelisted and anything else blocked less discussion on this part Sad this community educated me a bit as well. As you claim GOG compatibility and re write other gateways. You made me look deeper and i discovered that i can drop the server list from the memory. What does that mean tupac the wheel rolling an opposite way? No, its actually very powerful and a good defense against criminals who ddos like picka does. This will allow my Warcraft II Loader to switch a IP address live from a webpage or w/e incase a ddos attack or server outage occurs. Another server comes with some automation or manually w/e i get notified. Trust me i planned for your criminal asses.

Since the topic has already changed, 5 posts into this new thread, I will say, I was enjoying the Tupac Picka back and forth. I feel like it was the battle of who is more powerful and the question was, who would back off once threats were made. Kind of exciting, lol. My life isn't very exciting as you can tell.

One does not feud with animals, for they are bellow your mental capacity. You thinking i'd ever consider into "battling" for e-penis with such person is beyond me. You must be new or something. There were no threats.
