I have been developing my own tournament website which is MUCH prettier than

I am looking for at least 8 or 16 player to participate in the first tournament
60men is one of the oldest and simplest pball maps - you start with 60 footmen and 4 allerias, all 1/1 HP.
Although simple, the games involve A LOT more strategy than you think, and are also very fast pace and exciting.
I think this a great custom to introduce NEW PLAYERS to because you command an army and battle right away, without having to learn all the different things that go into building a hall, mining gold, chopping trees, upgrading, and committing to a half hour - 1 hr long game in something like GOW, games of 60men typically last 1 - 5 minutes
USA-Fastscan used to say its "Battle.Net, not Build.Net"
Do you guys think I can get 8 people to participate? let me know what you think of the platform itself and if you would like to see it used for a different map tournament

Once we have at least 8 or 16 players, I will close registration and set up the bracket, matching you with your first opponent
you will then use the PlayerNet profile to message your opponent and setup a time for your match that works for both of you

I also like that it's a custom map tournament which is rarely seen on here. Any other players wanting to host tournaments on their own like this can use something like the challonge.com brackets.

Love the page, I know it has a warning but is the warcrap download really needed on there though. Would hate for some newbie to stumble on it and use it on the server and get banned.

Say you have your Alleria selected, you go to kill the enemy Alleria, you have Map Hack on. You click the Alleria to kill it. Your Alleria goes right up to it and doesnt shoot it and gets itself killed!!!
This is becuase even though you thought you clicked on the Alleria, youre actually not technically able to see it (the game knows there SHOULD be fog there), so it doesnt attack, it just goes to that location.
Newbs have been warned not to hack on War2RU and I clearly said not to use it, and I wont be using it for the reasons above also. Its just for anyone who wants to mess around with it in their own games for fun. Also I think its the last download source on the internet!

Like i said, in this particular custom, if Map Hack is used, it is likely to the DISADVANTAGE of the hacker which is pretty funny when you see it happen and you know that they are hacking.
PERSONALLY, I dont care if players map hack in my 60men tournament, however I will not be map hacking and I will ban Map Hacking to comply with RU policy.
Also, if someone asks for a screenshot, Map Hack is easily seen, and youre not able to turn it off once you turn it on so if you hack YOU WILL BE BANNED from RU, and will have to play campaign forever lol
Also, in my next tournament I'm hoping to have everyone pitch in $10 to a paypal account that will then give the winnings to the first place winner. In this case, it will be important that the games are completely fair, no map hacks, and I will probably require every game be recorded with War2Video and uploaded for proof.

I wouldn't want you to have /voice or /announce and I wouldn't sticky your tournament thread on the forum or anything like that if the tournament is being hosted on a website with map hacks on it.

I'm against hacks. The tournament would get my endorsement if the hacks are taken down, otherwise he is free to run the tournament but I don't think our server should help advertise it or support it in any special way. He's helping spread hacks, and the hacks are on the same page as the tournament sign up.

you know there are ways war2.ru staff can support tournaments right? i mentioned some of them before. give /voice to the host, or give them access to an account with /announce, stickying threads, having burnt post on the facebook or wherever, maybe even put the event in the fabled calendar. that is what i am talking about. but should we really lend our support in those ways if the tournament website has hacks on it?
like, it's cool that usa~archer has made a nice site, and is running a tournament, i want to make that clear that it's a nice project even if it is just paintball, but i don't see the need for supplying map hacks to the community... that part of it is bad.

Best solution is to close other clients and link directly the ss on website..
When you take ss, your ss go directly and viewable from everyone to the website.
Like custom in the past, so everyone can see original ss before editing ;)

Absolute majority of us agree that hacks should not be a part of our life.

Does anyone know how difficult it is to LOSE at 3v4 60men? The computer AI couldve done better than RipE. Not kidding.
I would be pretty embarrassed too if I could only manage to get 38 kills while commanding an army of 60 footmen, 4 allerias, and outnumbering my enemies by 25%.
My favorite is the pregame chat where Adam-w says it will be an easy win, and RipE follows him up saying that hes the master at 60men lmao
Oh and does anyone see me hacking in this video? No. Ask for a screenshot anytime. How about ban people who are known, proven hackers, instead of someone who is trying to revive a custom map community.

lol. we played 2 games. first game i was allyin some newb. and we raped u in a 2v2. I WAS FIRST TIME EVER PLAYING THAT MAP. the second game was second time ever playing that map. i think i did quite fukin good for a dude who has played the map TWICE. without checkin the map with map editor even. :D

We can all see the replay because it's on your site. That was a 3v3 because one player died without killing any allerias.
Second, he didn't say he raped you, he said "we raped u in 2v2," which can just be taken to mean his team won easily.

When I said the computer could do better than RipE, I wasnt kidding. Its VERY difficult to lose at pball when your team has 256 and the other team has 192 to start.
His excuse is that it was only his second time controlling an army of footmen and archers, so thats understandable lol

Before the game began he bragged of being "the master of 60men" in pregame chat. And hes so embarrassed about the video that he is petitioning the mods to defend him, and asking that I be banned from War2RU and forums

He said that because you're spreading hacks. You have hacks on your website that you're promoting, and you stubbornly refuse to take them down! Moreover, you say the reason not to use them is because they don't help in your paintball map. But what about the maps they do help on?? Do you not even care that you could be exposing a bunch of new people to hacks, people that could become the next dellam or that could hack on maps where it changes the playing field?

2. I am not encouraging anyone to hack and its clearly stated
3. Hackers are going to hack, and theyre going to get banned if they do so who cares, its such a small community, no one wants to get banned and besides why would you hack these days? No ones worried about their stats how stupid they are if they care about winning still
If iL says "remove WarCrap or we ban you from RU server and forums" then I will remove immediately. But so far its just "we dont like it"

aight, but as you can see admins do not favour your position about hacks and they may not support your website (hence - tournaments hosted on it) because of that very reason. just dont use the "bias" argument then, nobody is biased towards you or pballers, but towards hacks

Yes, it is, but cheat codes give you much more opportunities for a single player game. If you need to play with your friend using hacks, you can PM them to him.

I think you actually do. You publish something, then you write that it's a forbidden fruit, it's tempting for new players who never touched that before.

I think hackers should go to get banned. So, you advertise the hacks, some people can try that and then they should go to ban (bad for community) or probably find the way to avoid ban and keep playing with hacks (even worse for community).
So what a good resaon to advertise hacks here?
If one decides to hack, he will find hack without our help, then he have to be banned, so don't attract people for that.

Had to be done when i setup that poll. Adding that now means we have to enforce people to revote. Also not sure if votes are not being erased when editing the poll...

I believe that's incorrect. The "Edit Poll" option is clearly visible at the bottom of the poll; I also tried editing a test poll, and resetting vote counts is an option:
