My guess is that iL is trying to be careful about free speech. Therefore instead of trying to stop you from talking he just put a label on your account. Can you change it here?

My personal opinion is to not label people's accounts but at a certain point if people carry on too much to actually put a ban on them for some time.

Yes, exactly. Since we care of freedom of speech, i don't think we should delete or change any posts. But other forum visitors should know who several persons are. To consider that while reading posts of such person.

Just keep in mind, Equinox, the "warning" I gave was not only about posting in Burnt's tournament thread, it's about taking your grievances to all sorts of threads where they don't really belong, which was taking up too much of the forum, just like iL says here. I actually agree it seems uneven to ban one and not the other. However, I gave a direct request, "Winchester, do not post in this thread. Equinox, do not start more threads." Equinox obeyed, while Winchester quickly replied to the thread. I will ban Equinox too the next time he crosses the lines I made but Winchester was boldly breaking my warning.

I appreciate anyone's part in war2 project. I try to compile all the parts together when it's possible.
Unfortunately it's not so easy sometimes.
Sometimes we have to make choice and sometimes several others dislike our choice.
About your reputation: remember what you talked about Lightbringer and compare it with what they talked about you.
Suspicions-based flaming in both cases.
Also note that EviL~Ryu and Winchester attacked you only after you attacked somebody else.
Since you stop to attack anybody they will stop to attack you.
Now this situation looks like people got tired of all this garbage in each single topic and totally on forum, so looks like it's time to intervene for admins.

1: Ive been away from war 2 because you ban 7 days for no reason after everything i do for your server while you have nobody to take care of your own server.
2: Light was the one who start everything by telling me what i have to do with my life, when he have no fucking right to judge what i have to do of my life. Light was the first to ban me for no reason because i told him to go fuck himself in french.. If i told it to go fuck himself in french it was because thats was personal and i dont want to disgrace him on public, it was me and him, but cant even be a man to take my words.
3: The only way why lightbringer act like this was because he know ive just found the way he used to hack for ten years.. Instead of doing what he have to do, he start to tell me i was crazy and dint know about what i was talking instead of trying to do something about it, you accuse me because i have accuse him of hacking, but the way he act dint help him, it just make it supscious.
4: So thats why he try to get me ban so hard and thats why he left hes admin position when you promise to send this list of who using 2.02.1, because he dint want to get caught and just let all this story bow down.
5: Thats probably also why you never send that list because lightbringer will be in it and proove i was totally right from the start.
6: Thats also why lightbringer lag since ten year by causing the latency bug from the error connection between the 2 patches.
It was not bad accusation, but accusation who deserve to get seriously.

i tried this after he made that post... version only showed up like 5-10% of the time for me. every other time it was just empty.

Listen blid, he can closed war2original client and patches 2.0.2.1 and bring everyone on same patchs and same client as every serious game, but for some reason he just dont want and supposely try to find a miracle way they dont even need to be find.

By closing war2 original client and 2.0.2.1, your resolved hacking issue, no more hacking on server and ss really mean something, you also resolve a big LAG probleme by fixing the lag error between different patches.
Your also make people confident and they know nobody hack or you really can caught them.

Yes there one thing you can do to improved for me and everyone, closing the others patch and clients, let open only war2ru combat and 4.00.
There the good thing to do, there the right thing to do, did you ever seen serious game with different client and different patchs, its not working like that.

I didn't know about this. That's great. You can make sure everyone you play is using the right version if you have concerns about this.

i think its unrealistic to expect people to stay on track in each thread, and then make a new thread when the discussion about the specific topic is over... you will be splitting topics/moving tops every hour.
if you're trying to change the dynamic of the forum you're going to moderate it very heavily.
