Title: Question: iL
Post by: SmurfKinG on February 20, 2015, 07:18:45 PM
Can you make some config so that multiple sessions are allowed on the same AKA ?

Cuz if you did, it would be cool.

If that were possible maybe i could log on, on both, a battle net client software, and in the game... and still be able to receive msgs and talk and shit.......... know what i mean?

Not sure if it's possible...
Not sure how it can help you for your purposes: you'll still have different connection ids for different accounts also.

If you need the same name for chat and game you can use something like spoof technology. (For test purposes of course, not for real games, because spoofing is still a hack...)

I think he means to edit the pvpgn to allow more then one login with the same account. Its in bnet.conf you know.

1. Load war 2 play!
2. Stay in chat or what ever with bot.

This right?

Theres no point, but its also not possible

Tupac, maybe you are thinking of this section in bnetd.conf

# If someone attempts to log in more than once, should it kick off the old
# login, or deny the new one?
kick_old_login = true
#kick_old_login = false

Its saying should it kick the current user or deny the new user from logging into the same name. Default is kick the old user

What do you mean tupac? Are you saying you found where to enable logins from same account in bnetd.conf?

yes, and you just saw it too. Kick old logins will kick off the the old account when it logins twice......

Tupac = logged in, hes on...
Now he tries to login twice boom it drops the first one and allows the second connect to work. On battle.net it didnt kick it just gave you TuPaC#2....

Tupac, i think u misunderstand what it does

True means kick the old login
False means deny the new user from being able to login

Either way nobody logs in twice to the same handle
