Wrong mpq bro not patch.... you have a corrected mpq because the first one aka the bigger one. Has all the thing to need to make your changes.

Install war2 again in different directory and reopen it...

Youre having a dumb moment lol. You have been in the correct one long time ago looool Don't worry we all do it sometimes

that mpq is called out when war2 had an update. And those files are called and used when war2 asks for them Instead of getting the files from the original mpq...

Okay I'm still at work but I looked up the authors website. There is a lot of tools for dijankahn or something I'm pretty sure I used pudgrid to make a 512x512 map. I will update when I'm by my pc.

Yes I have an all in one program I use and mention before that does everything and .got files.

AI Scripts
GRP Files
All DAT Files
Palette Files
TBL Files
GOT Files
LO? Files
TRG Files
iscript BIN Files
FNT Files
Tileset files
PCX Files
MPQ Files
and many more.

I see you are aware of the way the programs work with the extensions. Most of these work for warcraft 2 files from the mpq too. PyMS is a great program for most of your editing needs. There is many more useful programs here

Some only work for starcraft but will handle certain setting in .got editor even though it's starcraft stuff.... be careful and back up don't corrupt your hours spent modifiying.

Flag is icon debug. It's can be a permanent value set just using fake client tag.

We'll I have windows 8.1 I can record what happened this is crazy. And of course It would work on xp vm...

Found a bug when i save it, scrambles all of my icons and names wtf.........

EDIT: FIX BUG!!!!!

Someone tell me if they have an issue too. When I get home I will extract to tga and use the bni builder from pvpgn...

I just took the regular .bni from war2 not ru, I uploaded the incorrect bni sorry. I was having issues with the tags and set them to flags.

It was just my sample run I suck at imaging. I used paint to make all the icons I added and didnt spend more then 20 minutes on this. I figured you guys would find this software very useful ! Enjoy
