Title: having problems with initial game setup on a MacBook Pro using High Sierra

So basically I have tried several things and am still struggling and wanting to play my favorite childhood game again. I have used wine/winebottler and dosbox, but am just not having any luck and was hoping for some help...Thanks!

hey friend, sorry you couldn't get it working & that no one has replied to your thread. There aren't very many of us war2 players and very few among that amount use mac so we don't have a lot of advice to offer in this area. the only thing i can suggest is to search the forum for the handful of other threads that are about playing on mac and see if you can find anything useful/applicable to your situation in there. good luck!!

I have as little as possible to do with macs and don't have one here to test things with, but if anybody could help I would suspect they might want a bit more detail than "not having any luck" like:

i couldn't download the install file?
it wouldn't install?
it wouldn't run?
I couldn't get online?
it worked up until X but then did Y?

stuff like that... it might help some other mac user identify the problem.
